19. I lived in France for a year learning the language. A true French baguette is baked fresh every morning, soft and moist on the inside, crusty on the outside. Buy them early because within a few hours the outside starts to soften, and putting them in plastic speeds up that softening of the outside. A day later they are cut up into tiny pieces, dried and used for croutons on salads.

21. Great stuff! But did I see you boiling water in an open pan to make coffee whilst sailing? First thing to do the is buy a stainless steel kettle . Dont want ant accidents with scalding hot water do we?
