Detaliul distractiv despre povestea noastră este că barca pe care am cumpărat-o se scufunda și se baza pe multe pompe de santină pentru a supraviețui, așa că a trebuit să o ridicăm pe uscat pentru a începe o reparație completă. Odată ce barca a fost ridicată (pentru prima dată în viața ei) ne-am dat seama că munca necesară a fost mult mai mult decât se aștepta. Între eliberarea sau acceptarea provocării, am decis să alegem a doua variantă. Face it the original boat below the water line was beyond repairs you absolutely needed to rebuild it from the keel up and you did a very good job that yard crew you got was a god send very talented group of ship rights and feel free to tell them so for me

Great channel and I've watched and supported you from the beginning. After spending so much time, effort and money on fixing the hull of the boat, I can't understand why you are not properly investigating and repairing the bowsprit area. It's the only part of the boat that you have not fully renovated.
You went this far so far in getting all the rot out and now you want to go chinnsy and not fix an important part of the boat. The mosture in the wood would take months to dry out naturally . You should remove the wood structure and rebuilt it to match the quality of the rest of the hull.

This schooner is turning out to be absolutely gorgeous, congratulations to the both of you, what a magnificent job restoring this piece of nautical history. We can hardly wait for her launch date, rest assured we will be celebrating along with the both of you here in the U.S. Carolinas! Please thank for us the talented ship carpenters who have invested there sweat and blood to make this vessel all she could be and then some.
Would have thought by now you'd know not to put thickened epoxy or resin on bare wood(dry bond). Wood of any type need thinned epoxy/resin first to saturate the wood before laminating or filling. But at least it'll be easy to get out if there is ever a problem there in the future

Salut Ben, as-tu demandé un avis sur la réparation du beauprès, car il y avait un sérieux trou…ce que tu a raboté, mais la matière ajoutée au trou sera il suffisemment solide, tu as beaucoup de contrainte avec le code 0 quand il est en place…!! Bon courage pour la suite et bravo encore pour cette vidéo, Vincent de France…!! superbes entourages de porte, ça rend super bien Bravo …!!
