Got to be honest if I was traversing this area I would be carrying a 12-gauge shotgun loaded with buckshot or slugs. These "fish" are trying to kill you and you have the right of self-defence despite what the tree huggers tell you. 😈
I've watched a couple vids in which people decry the "RICH YACHTS" being attacked by orcas and that "those rich people deserve it". I've tried to dispel the ignorance but you know how some people are.

Wow, you made this passage without a strike, we were truly concerned as of recent there were 23 Orca strikes reported in your vicinity. These ranged from 8 boats disabled costing Insurance claims over $150,000 USD, one sinking determined as a hole punched in the starboard quarter on a 65ft sailboat and various fish netting entanglements.

I don’t mean to be crass but we as humans put these BEAUTIFUL CREATURES in fucking tiny tanks and make them do tricks. We should have NEVER done this to these MAGNIFICENT beings and I don’t blame them one bit. Do I want you to sink or anyone absolutely not but we need to taken collective responsibility for how cruel we are. Not just the tanks but nuclear bommbing their home for decades. Naval sonar… do you know HOW MUCH THAT HURTS THEM????)

good you made it safely, Mads from Sail Life did the 20 meters coast hugging 2 or 3 months ago and had no trouble either, Sailing Atticus just went straight through from the Azores last October without problems, Now we don't need to worry about you and the Orcas…cheers As a footnote when the Orcas weren't a problem the big worry was the busy shipping lanes in the straight of Gibraltar
Good videos! I like to imagine that off camera the two of you have "perfect posture" challenges, where you attempt to beat the other by striking a more perfectly postured pose.
