1. That "support vessel" M2 is crazy, it literally looks like a small-ish fleet support vessel for a navy, in fact minus the fuel booms she looks a lot like a replenishment tanker as those often even have similar cranes

4. Re that tug, or any vessel really. Would it have been possible to siphon fuel from the towed vessels tanks. Should it be necessary as in an emergency. Not saying they did that here but as an emergency measure.. Oh and that new bigger boat, I am sure it will be incredibly impressive but the design. Not a fan. Yeah I know what would he care.

9. Motoryacht Jubilee/Kaos was the largest Oceanco-yacht before Korus launch, with 110meters.

11. Boys and girls these are modern times and it is possible to carry personal emergency locator beacons or boat EPIRBs alerting rescue staff you are in trouble and where you are. There is pretty much no reason for getting stranded on the sea or land or if you crash from the air.

14. It's amazing the extend of damage this vessel got when tipping over in the dry dock. Talk about a "oups" moment – Better spend the time to make it 150% correct the first time, no error can be made here. It's a testament of the professionnalism of all people involved during these dry docks ops while I guess very very few such accident happens. But when they do gosh what a mess !

16. Still find it odd they towed the RV Petrel all the extra way around the tip of Florida to Tampa rather than an east coast facility like Norfork, VA. or repair it there in the EU so it could sail under it's own power. Seems like a gross waste of taxpayer money for the fuel and towing both ways.

Rescued a lot of people who bought boats and never took a navigation course or engine repair course it was always between Florida and the Bahamas they didn’t realize that the Gulf Stream can take you way north of Bimini when it’s running hot Captain on a big sportfish Bertram was banging on our boats looking for people to go with him we all put on our life jackets with strobes on them and left about 10pm turns out it was a family on a sailboat we got the wife and kids off but the husband refused to go he had no idea where he was ended up towing them when we got back to Hank Browns docks the wife literally beat him down on the docks the wife and kids stayed on our boats because she and the kids didn’t want to be anywhere near him totally arrogant guy that sportfish Cap was the best I’ve ever seen getting to where we could take the wife and kids off I thought I was a pretty good captain but this guy must have had gold medals

22. It's great that these mariner's followed the code of the sea (help everybody), but this it NOT A HEROIC RESCUE. Not to take anything away from the yacht's crew-they were great, but it doesn't deserve all the news hoopla about it. Every day, mariners, commercial and recreational the world over, do the same thing-daily-and kudos to every one of them. Now if PEOPLE ON LAND looked out for their neighbors and community in the same way-THOSE WOULD BE AN EVENT OF NOTE AND SMEARING ACROSS THE HEADLINES. Thanks for the video.

23. First thing to do before you buy a boat is to take navigation course snd get qualified and then a radio course,
    I got both my qualifications before I did my first sea crossing, everyone who goes to sea should be better prepared, i used to regularly see owners and crew being very unsafe, particularly on large yachts where there are loads of dangerous situations…. especially in places like Monaco where boats are moored so close to each other

24. I got to see m/y infinity in Nassau Bahamas while on a cruise.. it was amazing, so large that from the 9th deck of the cruise ship you were about even with the top deck of the yacht

29. We don't get too many superyachts here around New York City, so I was interested to follow Utopia IV. She docked on the west side of Manhattan, and it looked like she did a short sightseeing trip around the Battery and part way up the East River, then back. Today, she is in Long Island Sound off Greenwich, CT going only about 7 knots. Im guessing she is being chartered for day trips.

31. Since they were towing a US Navy vessel for the u.s. Navy I'm sure that the u.s. Navy could use its feelers are already out in the ocean to keep the tub topped off if necessary. That would be the scenario I would think because I used to be in the u.s. Navy.
