1. Make no mistake, Antigua is not innocent in this financial game of ‘hide the pea.’ This is a country thats primary industry is hiding and manipulating financial assets of very rich people. The US knows the score here too. Crews not paid… easily BS. Last minute legal plays… well orchestrated. You can bet that someone with the wealth and power (and legal team) of the retired CEO of Google was not duped and is well aware of any future outcomes. I’m sure it was not him making the offer, but the shell company his trust owns. The only mystery here is what the motivation of these actors are (including the local and US governments) and to what end. This story has mostly left the mainstream media. This story may well melt into a magic disappearing mess of legal manipulation. My thought is that there are no real losers here and that includes the crew.

2. The Antigua court should require the deposit of all disputed funds with the court in order to hear the dispute. Money for fuel and crew should be held in trust pending resolution of the appeal.

3. Well the current tolerated and seeked opacity of ownership of yachts (trough cascade of screen companies etc.) atcually is an advantage to law enforcement / justice at some point. Because if nothing can be found out about the real ownership like the real beneficiary owner, then the authorities can decide pretty much by themselves who they consider is the owner. Looking trough past build orders, yacht usage etc., who made the payments etc. is not that difficult to attach a name with it. If the paper work is obscure and the claim of ownership seems bogus I guess what authorities should do is decide for themselves who is the owner.

7. I think your obsession with wanting Andrey Melnichenko being the owner of Alfa Nero leaves you blinded to the possibility that his daughter Yulia Guryeva-Motlokhov could truly be the owner. You've stated many times before the sanctions that yacht owners do this LEGAL type of ownership chain for their own privacy, as well as avoiding (ridiculous) taxes and regulations. With that full knowledge that owners want their privacy, there is no reason Andrey Melnichenko to inform the press or nosy YouTubers who owns a boat they use.

   You are under NDA regarding the yachts you currently work on and likely previously have worked on. If someone asks you "Does x own this yacht you worked on y years ago?" and you say "No," there's no obligation for you to reveal who the owner is/was at the time. There's also "professional courtesy" that people apply to situations such as these in life. One bad aspect you're picking up from mainstream media outlets is that you're coming across as feeling entitled to know answers when no one is obligated to provide any. "Why wouldn't he just tell me what he knows?" Everyone has the right to remain silent.

14. What is blinding obvious is that the lawyers involved in these wheezes need to be locked up (for bad breath? – Hey, who says we have to be legal) and their clever little schemes closed down. Countries and states like BVI, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Panama etc. need to have the hard word put on them – they stop their nasty little secret schemes and everything associated with them or be removed from the civilised world. 17. I find it totally ridiculous for the judge not to throw that case out IMMEDIATELY, followed 5 minutes later with obstruction of justice charge by the prosecutor to intentionally mislead authorities about the fact of the actual ownership
    they had all the time they needed to file any documents or proof necessary to lift the sanctions off the yacht, but they did not, end of story

23. Well, it seems to me that if Ms Guryev wants to claim ownership of the yacht, the first thing she should do is reimburse the Antiguan government for all the money they've had to spend on it, and for back crew salaries and docking fees. That's what the real owner would do, right?
