NO NEAR WIRING , NOR FUEL LINES ! THERE ARE WATER INHIBITOR GREASES OF SILICONE TO LUBRICATE MOVING PARTS EXPOSED TO SALT OR FRESH WATER , MOST OF THOSE GREASES ARE ALSO USED ON ROLLERS TO RISE SAILS , ALL LUBRICATED EXPOSED BEARINGS , BUSHINGS , LAUNCH TRAILERS BESARINGS AT THE MARINA OR VESSEL TRANSPORT ! That was one big chapter and all well worth the effort I'm sure to set you up for the next big chapter of the Pacific crossing and all the new adventures that will bring. The aches and stresses of the boat yard work will soon evaporate and life will become really good again.

I love watching the skill and care you put in to repairs. Some channels have such a slop-dash approach it drives me crazy. Sailing an ocean requires good repairs and secure mountings, etc. you two are great, I’ve been bingeing all the old episodes as well.
You guys are fantastic! I love your way of being. I understand, work, work, but we still have to live and feel good with friends over a beer or make our tummies happy with a super sausage garnished with everything. What can I say, you two are wonderful together. I wish you to always be like this and to love each other beyond all the oceans you will cross for ever and ever!

I have enjoyed watching the progress you have made over the last ten+ videos from within the boat yard. It’s crazy to think about all the work required to live the life you two have chosen. Hopefully the Pacific has treated you well so far and the hard work has been worth every drop of blood, sweat, and tears that fell on the dry Mexican soil.

Try add a chunk of hose over the dead stop on the quadrant. A little shock absorber when you hit the hard over. Lessens the impact shock if you have swung it hard. And easy to replace. Great job you are doing loving an old boat. Soon you will have touched every square inch, inside and out. Lotta love.
