Great passage Martin. The last 40 miles seemd like 400. In the last shots of the heavy seas you can spot the highrise buildings already. Its crazy how long that last stage yakes once you finally see land. Very good presentation of the conditions.

Could you please provide some more info about your experience with your hydro generator? I keep hearing about poor efficiency when boat speed is low. So it would be interesting to know how well such a device work with the hull speed of a 34 ft boat. Thanks

You would think that the Gulf Stream would help you, but from living in Florida for many years and watching the sailing channels on YouTube most people sail inside or outside the Gulf Stream I've seen some rough conditions in the Gulf Stream. Good luck to you Martin, stay safe.
