  1. We love Puerto penasco I'm from Glendale Arizona and the locals here all call it Rocky point. A very nice town The people are very nice Hope you enjoy your stay there then how long it will be there but enjoy the local fresh seafood. They will tell you that the shrimp is fresh but actually it is shrimp that they get from the seafood processing plant this time of year it is frozen and thawed out for the local vendors to sell. Shrimping season should be beginning real soon. There are a lot of nice restaurants to visit enjoy and God bless stay safe

  2. Incredible species and think how their life is lived on the sea. Their own private island, a whole community of them stretching generations, and hard rocks as comfortable to them as a cushioned seat is for us. Ready for a swim? No need for any gear, just dive in!

  3. There is a place you may see when you're going into Puerto penasco it is called Bird Island. This is where they take all the people to snorkel with a sea lions. I know they're they say it is safe to snorkel with them they actually have tour boats that take people out there again it's called bird Island when you're in Puerto peñasco AKA Rocky point on a nice clear day You can see it way off in the distance it is a bunch of large island peaks extending out of the water check it out You will love it for sure

  4. The chubasco hit Guaymas with 68 kts of wind. The Marina at El Mero was completely destroyed with all docks gone. The Marina is open to the east and waves were so big they lifted the docks off the posts. The marina has been there for 20 yrs.
Locals say It was the worst chubasco in 35 yrs.
I suffered some damage with a couple of solar panels destroyed and some huge dents in the side of the hull.
    A scary night.
But.. As the song says… Storms don't last long.

  5. Seals are amazing and smelly at same time. I commercially dived 30 yrs occasionally near seal colonies. Patted many Meiko’s and Whites always around them also often standing off waiting for a chance for a snack.
So I would suggest be very cautious snorkeling near seals.
We have a 38 this Thursday that’s more than hot enough 😱👍😁
Enjoy your travels Steve and Kay. ❤

  6. Omg 57 degrees.. I once worked at the Fisherman’s Bend Holden plant foundry and if the temperature in the foundry ever reached 60 degrees we were permitted to stop work and leave the foundry.
