Perhaps you need to share jobs more, like every month, one week should be only Princess operating the outboard to build up familiarity. Same with the water maker. And motoring into anchor. Far safer with two highly skilled people on board.
Sooner or later, this is going to happen to my wife, too. Sigh.
Never be afraid to ask a fellow sailor for help. 95% of them (including me) will help a fellow sailor out in any way possible.
People on the water have to help each other when someone is in need of assistance.
The boating community is just so different from the land community.

Ahhh, all is well that ends well. Sorry Princess that you felt so uncomfortable while being on your own. Maybe time to enroll in a basic cruising course so you can become more confident with anchoring, weather, checking for anchor drag with GPS, dingy motor basic troubleshooting, and getting more connected to the local yachting community so you never feel alone.
My dad was a private pilot and he and my mom traveled cross country a lot. As a result my mom got her private pilot's license and would fly sometimes just to stay confident that if something happened in the air, she could navigate, locate an airport, contact ATC and land the plane solo if necessary. These little things can make life far less frightening and far more enjoyable.

I hate you are that scared. All the sailing you have done I would think you could move the boat if you had to. You will soon take a lessons and be on your own .
Stop worrying about what others are thinking when looking at you. They could be making sure you are not in distress or need. And, they may want to help but are waiting for you to ask. There is no shame in asking for help or helping others. Being alone takes practice for some.
No more by yourself until you can continue life when on your own. I am sure there is a system of someone coming to take you away and return back to your boat . ❤️

Boring. So much for quit job go sailing. Jupiter has become a very expensive ball and chain. I realize that you probably want to finish your circumnavigation back to Australia or the Philippines. Keeping it and commuting are all consuming. Situation is frivolous.

Jamie I do not really recommend you bringing up the stressful subject of stuff breaking to princess while she is alone and your away on the phone 🤔. I understand you being nervous to talk on the radio, because most of the people on there are gringos. Years ago, I sailed into New Zealand, and had an important message to give on the radio net, about the contaminated water on a ship wreck on Middleton reef, they were all gringos on the net, didn't acknowledge my info, arrogant pieces of shit. I have a few American friends, but most of them are shit people.
