What a pity these boats are never below 7 digits!!! … For plastics, wood and metal made on not durable object, consumption products and not investissent, it is definitely too much !!!May be in 15 years their price as used boats will be accessible 🙂
    What a pity when you know that most of these boats will stay in marina 10 months per year…

  8. I really like the Balance line of catamarans, and if I had a chance that would be my first choice. Sadly, I got sidelined for health reasons, and so I slowly became of fan of watching you guys and a few others. I am surprised at the trend toward sharper corners in some of the newer boats. While it may appeal to those who like luxury, I think it looks less comfortable and welcoming. I'm still praying you guys find the boat you will be happiest on soon.

  13. Isn't Marsaudon, makers of the ORC bankrupt and in receivership? Also their boats have an unfortunate history of inverting. Out here in the real world I don't see any cats with the kind of average speeds promoted by the Marsaudon guy, because it's just not safe….

  14. New is nice! I can see the wheel's turning, or was that smoke? If they're too much $$$, there's always shorter ones… If you run out of things to do, you can always come help me build our new dinghy!

  25. Gunboat with a fly bridge is just wrong…. interesting to see the bigger windows and spaces, very nice for living, I'm not sure about it though. Interesting to see all that solar and batteries. How much solar? Yes. Incidentally have you had a look at the Dazcat Ocean cruiser – it has 4 potential helm positions and they will build it with whichever you want (or any combination of them) apparently they can be retrofitted too!

  27. Hey Mr. O'Kelly (sorry don't know your first name!), how tall are you?? Just curious for the sake of headroom comparisons, etc. I'm around 6'3" so most boats I've been on seem a bit low on headroom.
