Thankyou , this was an eye opening episode , well done SVN .
We are in the NE of Brazil for kiteboarding and the wind is consistently 25 – 40 knots onshore! Glad you made it through another storm and at this point, I'm sure you've completed the circumnavigation. Congrats!
You guys are so badass. We love your story and your ability. Thank you for sharing.
Bingo well said a humble heart will make you at peace with all struggles at sea
Legend! you guys are a legend… I do respect this family courage. May God always be with your family 🙏🏻💕
Thank you for taking the time. I'm in the learning stage of possibly a liveaboard life and this is nice. I also missed out on two-parent parenting, so that warms my old heart
u guys are so special. u really know how to take it on and expand as u go. love your journey. thank u .
Great Job!!!! Thank You…. 🙂
Great video, thank you for taking us with you.
It doesn’t do it justice when you watch the video. I’ve been in extreme bad weather myself, including hurricanes, it’s not a nice situation to be in. And I certainly think it’s even worse in a small boat.
Wouldn’t you just lower your sails a bit to slow the boat down. Rather than throw a line overboard? 👍👍👍
Do you ever see ufo’s
When we had our 33’ ketch, we ran into bad weather for the first time out. We ran into a force 7 gale head on, yet on the return trip we ran into a force 8 fresh gale. Because it was behind us, it was a smoother journey. Although I gained confidence and it added to my experience. It never happened to my missus. It was the last time she came on our boat 😂.
I'm sure your kids were calm and not scared because you stayed calm and that gave them the comfort they comfort they needed.
GREAT episode… best one yet! ❤
What an awesome episode. I love how you guys sail. Just watching you, we learn a lot about "sailing" and the sea. I love it. The kids handle this life very well. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Damn tht was a big Storm 😂
Do you actually know what a storm is 🤷♂️
exciting
Amen to that Ben😊😊
Brilliant and admirable. ✌️❤️😎
Hate to be on that thing in a real storm.
Love to see you loving the sailing
Kiddo in the background around 1.45……yikes
Mahi Mahi, (Dorado) is so good fresh. Congrats. You might consider either just virgin olive oil or organic corn meal for the Mahi. It will taste better and be more healthy in general. Panko is made with wheat and most of that is not organic. Most wheat in the USA is harvested with Roundup to kill the wheat so it puts more energy into the kernel. Yet, the Roundup remains. It is toxic. Something you would not want to introduce to your daughter.
Wow just wow!!!! I love this channel
Incredible video
Thank you for the amazing drone footage….you two make quite the team. Great video, thanks for the share. Best, 🤗
What an amazing channel. Thanks guys!!
Those was perfect eating size for a family
Awesome! I would suggest wearing safety glasses when operating the drone (trying to catch it…). You never know…
Just when I begin to doubt you are the coolest youtube sailors, you do this. Immense grace- coolness under pressure.
I watched this episode on my TV and from the get go was shouting at the telly “launch a drogue!”. I am a retired sailor and open boat handler. While impressed by your home made drogue, I am wondering if you have a drogue on board appropriate for your craft and passage planning. If not why not? It would be standard kit on some of the craft I have helmed at sea.
The fish was a Shortbill Spearfish which is related to Marlin but it is a separate species altogether.
Great drone footage. For folks who have never been on a small boat in large seas, a camera never shows the true size of the waves. The drone perspective really shows the true relationship between the boat and the waves. Well done.
Hilarious video, it's all normal if you want to "Live on the Ocean "😅 .
When you say 2am… there is not need to say in the morning… that’s what the AM means!
Wow! That one wave looked massive! (10:45) To get that on video was amazing.
Do you guys ever put your kiddos in "safety gear" when dealing with rough seas for so long? Looking at this, i'd likely wrap them both up in bubble wrap. 🙂
Ill say it again. Amazing drone footage! Thanks.
Look at this Little Ship rolling along these Huge Waves! I am a Armchair Enthusiast!!
Love you guys
Keepin it real…..
Not only your boat went through another storm but above all YOU went through this, this adds to other experiences. Great for you. Be well. 👌👌👌
