  1. Terrific vid! I bought a 15' + flat bottom skiff (Bolger Featherwind) for only $700 in early August, and I've been working on it. It had a leak below the mast step. I'll send pics in a month or so.

  2. Outboards are for unfit people, I kind of ageee. However, I can remember some ocations when an outboard motor could have been great. I think your setup is close to perfect. What is your range on the motor?

  3. … well, maybe you could write something about the conversion of the Heron dinghy and the other light green boat with the sleek cabin structure ?
    Paul from Flensburg/Germany

… and, I forgot, … of course another well-made vid. about a nice day of sailing with good-humored people…

  4. Thanks Paul, great video as always. May have missed it but did you cover the outboard lift mechanism somewhere or could you. Potentially useful for a lot of smaller boats. Our season coming to a close but looking forward to yours for the winter here….

  5. Thanks again for very enjoyable video!!! It is nice all the sailing groups that seem to be there in Australia, makes me want to move there, obviously would really really enjoy the sailing!!!!!

  6. Thank you for this video.
Just a tiny (very little) mistake : the François Vivier Boat (John from UK) is not a "LIur" but an "Ilur" (with a "i" as first letter.).🙂 It's the name of a small island in Brittany

  7. That was a cracker! I have an oldish wayfarer (possibly the cheapest way to cruise) I would love to know of a conversion to a small cuddy cabin if you know of any?

  8. Hi Paul. A bit of a suggestion (not Deb).
You always feature the boats that round up for the raid with a few brief shots and a couple of questions. I think it would be good to do longer sections on the boats and skipper/ builders.
Special little alterations, home made fittings, problems with the build and stuff like that. I know that most folks just want to get the boat into the water and sail away, but with your charm you could pull it off. I am especially interested in the Paradox, but I think every boat has a story. Gary in japan.
