6. YaY, Monaco Yacht Show News!! From what I remember, you said the captain said just the boats is chartered, everything else is the extra's. Staff, Food and Fuels, witch $150,000 just in fuel, something like that. What I got out of it, is the extra's costs half as much as the yacht.

22. Carinthia 7 was sold last year. New owner put her into a 300 day refit. They added the pool in the back, replaced at least one stabilizer and enclosed aft portion of the bridge deck with glass. Now she will be offered on the charter market.

23. You just can't help but notice how many MYs are always up for sale. Makes you wonder about the eye-watering expense of keeping these things going.

27. 4:30 I completely agree. I definitely prefer the dark blue hulls. The blue and white just always seem to look good. This red/burgundy is definitely not my style especially with the white Turkish style interior.

    I’m in the same situation as you eSysman about placing an order for my yacht. Maybe next year we’ll both be ready and can place them together at this show. 🤔

44. Am curious on how the boat's length is decided. You've mentioned the different classes based on gross tonnage, but within a range, does it make a huge different if you add a metre to a boat? Does the customer list requirements, how many toys in the hangar, how many pools, how many helicopters and how many rooms and trhen the ship buider comes up with weight and gross tonnate? or is there a vainity issue that comes first with length and gross tonnage decided first, and ten they fit whatever they can in that space?

    I can understand people having the money to own and maintain these big beautiful boats, but for anyone to put up the money to charter it for $500+k for a week is unbelievable.
