  1. Ok sooo li-ion from old drill batteries one cell goes bad and all the rest are good have 20 of them around and you’ll always have light you can make banks just like Tesla batteries tones of cells and a BEC !! Another cheep one is lipo battery’s for rc cars huge power in a little space or an alternator from a car hooked to a fan or paddle with internal regulator and lots more for free power wish you were near me I would love to help !!

  2. Get a one inch diameter Forstner drill bit… and then drill to spot check the entire boat, and create a system to repair the hole left by the bit.

  3. Keep going Mark your doing ok that foam is a real sponge but at you are tackling the cause of the water for the age of the boat i think you have to expect water from the fixtures that are on the boat be warned the white polystyrene boxes you are using can be possible toxic fumes from fire starting to look more liveable good luck 😊😊😊

  4. I have commented before. Rot is a bug. So dig the rot out…to the point of real wood…Still bugs and not strong. So now soak in penetrating epoxy….2-3 times…then apply epoxy filler….and never ever ever poly, even on polyester resin hull. Does not stick. You amaze but also build crap. Dead friend will change that. Or a high view epi….I'm so sorry, thank you for the rescue.

  5. Should also mention, West system epoxy is brittle. 18 years ago used it on seams close to the bowsprit and along the inside edge of a mahogany toe rail. It was cracked within 2 months. Since have minced mat as thickener…and " total " something has a flex solution. Its odd liking a channel and the star, but watching for ineptitude. ahh, most parts can be skipped.

  6. Yikes! Mucky muck surprises behind those cabin walls. Excellent editing and music per your usual standard. I just love you and your project. ❤️ Fridays don’t come soon enough!

  7. I sure hope you have got to the bottom of where all that standing water in the coachroof has come from it would be an awful shame to do all that work for it to just get wait again.

  8. Mate. Whatever you do. Do NOT use that Styrofoam!! get the right shit dude. I'll send you the extra cash man. Cut corners where you can… safely. but don't do that one please!

  9. Build a 7' x 10' deck cabin. 3/8" plywood with 2" x 2" studs covered with cheapest polyester resin and rustoleum paint. You will have a waterproof cabin/ galley, topside, to work and live out of. Add door and windows and all for about $800 or less. Living topside, with windows, will make your life alot less depressing

  10. You have a lot of American viewers and we can't understand the language on your wish list. At least I can't. You are doing a Great job and I'm seeing a beautiful vessel when you're done. Just like "Minki" you will be so proud after you can set sail and you will be truly confident of your vessel after all the repairs and builds you have done. Very accomplished! Ignore the nay sayers!!

  11. I use LED string lights off amazon that run off rechargeable AA. I charge my AA batteries using solar. Also something to think about for flooring and decking up top is that stick down EVA foam stuff that looks like teak, on Amazon as well. Makes the boat look like a brand new expensive yacht and it’s easy to maintain and fix as well. Great stuff, stoked to see it sailing soon!

  12. Get the mast up and move your ass back to the UK find a small friendly marina and life will be easier the boat requires minimal set up to cross to the UK nothing needs to be perfect close all the holes watertight and cross now before winter
Winter weather in Britain or the Netherlands is shitty no matter what so get your floating device on the move and don't cut corners because you're give yourself a time-line

  13. Looking good Mark. If it was me I would put that charging station up on something higher if you floor gets water in from the hatch or spring a leak it can damage your charging station.

  14. FYI in the USA saying something is “decent” is the equivalent of saying just OK, or good enough. But is not a very high complement. So don’t worry, you’re not “overselling it” at all. Almost the opposite.
