Ne hotărâm să pornim într-un tur al insulei cu studenții locali ai universității. Ne duc într-un sat mic și ni se oferă o primire tradițională. Ne îndreptăm către un restaurant rural cu vedere la ocean și luăm un prânz indonezian. Ne urcăm apoi într-o barcă îngustă și coborăm estuarul unde verificăm o capcană antică pentru pești. Apoi este timpul să părăsești Debutul și să navighezi către Banda Neira, care este insula originală de condimente unde a fost găsită nucșoară. Acest lucru a provocat o mare agitație în istorie! În drumul nostru către Banda Neira ne oprim pe frumoasa plajă Ngurbloat și apoi continuăm spre vest, către un mic sat unde câțiva dintre copiii locali vâslesc la barca noastră. Ajungem în sfârșit la Banda Neira, unde ne-am lasat vizavi de o cafenea cu nucșoară! Magnus lucrează la pilotul automat care a încetat să funcționeze în timpul traversării noastre. What’s your secret to towing Peanut in the open ocean? How long is the painter and do you adjust it depending on sea conditions, boat speed, where the stern wave is, etc? There doesn’t appear to be more than one painter. And do you take stuff out of the dinghy?
Always get pleasure from watching Nutshell. Gamer man, then I dragging that tender. It is quite harrowing when the seas get rather large, but never again for me. That happened in 1988, East Coast NSW returning from Far North QLD
