Phew. So glad your dinghy is back!
Do you suppose the thieves took Baby Ruth with the idea of selling her, and then got cold feet? or what?
Great video, loving the feel of the boatyard and neighbourhood even. I hope to be buying a H28 somewhat set up for cruising, later this week. I'll be trawling through your old vid's for ideas, esp on making a solid spray dodger. Fair winds.
Great uplifting video!
Sure am happy 2 c U got Baby Ruth back! Good karma on ur side, Kevin! 👍❤️
How lovely that you got her back!
Glad our awesome boys in blue where able to recover her! But that’s not Baby Ruth, that’s Fatty Knees🤷♂️
Dood, Ruth Avery is back! Yay
I hope the thieves got slivers from Baby Ruth that fester and they lose their hands. I hate people with no respect for private property. I am really happy for you Kevin.
Glad to hear the wee one is back. Is walking the plank still allowed punishment in ME?
A wet summer it was!! What are plans for this fall, and winter?
Love the channel, Ty for sharing so much of your adventures. Please consider tidying up and labeling your wiring as well.
Yay shes back.. ❤
Glad BR has returned home. Sail-on!
Where have you been, you little Dinghy?
Glad you got your baby Ruth back!
I hope those folks start to watch your channel and realize how much of life they are missing and what a negative impact theft has on others.
So glad Baby ruth is home.
Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video.
Thanks for the idea about tape funnels. I've been looking for a way to fill outgassing bubble holes on timber that has to sit vertically while being epoxied. Doing what the West Systems manual says to do (i.e., waiting for the epoxy to partially cure before applying) wasn't working.
Thanks Kevin, its nice working with wood and epoxy, good job,, very nice to bring 'babe ruth' back home, all is well
so glad you got Baby Ruth back!
Glad she's back, Kevin. We had a bad feeling that she might end up like the Lindburgh Baby! Jeff and Julie s/v OoLaLa
Baby Ruth's wild ride! So glad you got her back. She must have been frightened with out you and Ruth in a forest. Always interesting to see your repairs in progress.
The warm recovery glow of relief!
Thanks for the hint on 'making little funnels for epoxy'. I'll try to do that. Also pleased to see your sculling oar improvement project, however I'm thinking the problem is more to do with the little kicker, and you continue to grow more …. of a gooder guy.
Small world. I called a fella about a lovely Phillip Rhodes gaff rigged ketch for sale in Nova Scotia. We were talking about sailing gaffers along the east coast and I mentioned I was a fan of yours to which he replied "I had lunch with Kevin Boothby just yesterday. He's the real deal!" I agreed!
My only complaint is you never show the finished product. Why not?
