He does a great job breaking it down. He's a great commununicator. I would definitely watch him.
I am curious as to how you will be able to maintain rigid curved windows with a lightweight canopy side cover.
Yes! a video on the building rebuild will be great! As an amateur far away in New Zealand DIY house renovator, boat restorer (40ft Flybridge launch) and old car tinkerer (currently 97 Jaguar XJ Sport), I am always amazed at the grit, and skills you people employ. My favorites are Duracell, RAN sailing, Ship Happens, Sailing Melody, Project Brupeg, and several other yacht restorers and sailors. Thank you all. Adding a building restoration associated with yours will be welcomed.
🤠👍
That was smart calling Matt. You just take most of the surprises out. Great job 👏.
That channel would be so cool. I adore watching english people doing up old buildings. We don't have that sort of history here in New Zealand. We aren't old enough
The canopy is gonna look great when it's completed. Also i agree to having the whitehall restoration doing a YouTube channel. Would be awesome to explain some if the technical things more in depth like the bat survey etc. Andy speaks very well on camera so it would be a very interesting watch.
Any house with its own name deserves a “Documentary” about it! He might even be able to get a grant from the Historical Society, the City or State to pay for it. Thin’ about it, it’s something integral to the History of the Town or the whole area. It will also keep it booked if they’re going to do the Venmo or any kind of rental because you can refer people to it. The Chamber of Commerce does some grants too if it’s a HistoricalArea. It’s great for everyone really, especially with a place with History anyway and the real estate agents like them too, it helps them sell the area, the Historic Homes and the people. I just “updated” one from 1860 & it had a name too, but it wasn’t nearly as big or as beautiful and they’ve got so much of the original hardware and wood that it’s just amazing. The Doorknobs, entryways and Doors themselves were probably worthy of a story of their own too. The whole property was gorgeous and I have a feeling they’ll find some surprises when they get all the wood floors, walls, windows ready for painting. I had bats in the chimneys too, all of them ! Keep us updated about what the “Other Andy” decides to do, I know a lot of people who would love to watch a video of the updating too and it looks like there’s lots of videos there…..
I would love to see Whitehall videos on the restoration.
Yes to videos on Whitehall. I love history!!
Hi Andy, I’ve been watching Duracell since the day. They parked it in their yard and he’s been working on it for a couple years now I’ll probably come across the channel about the same time I did with yours when you are on Melody. Keep up the good work it’s gonna look fantastic Cliff from Logan city Queensland Australia from the big island 🏝️🇦🇺🧑🏾🦽🐨🦘🏝
I would love to see this beautiful house being brought back to life. There are far too many old buildings that get nocked down to re build 500 postage stamps on the land.
I also noticed the rather beautiful and interesting looking landrover by the barns ❤
Big mistake to buy a historic property. The government has total control over every aspect of it, and you pay all the bills. Run Forrest, run!
Yes, Andy should do a YouTube channel.
It will look Amazing once done and really stand out as well as protect you all from the elements David Newcastle Australia 🦘
Brilliant editing 👏🏻👏🏻
You should have it Tig welded ! Those welds looks nicer
Andy you are very fortunate to have such wonderful friends. I definitely would love to see the restoration of Whitehall on YouTube 😊 .Blessing to all the family and friends 🙏💕💕💕⛵️⛵️
YouTube White Hall! certainly , and keep it real , show the failures that lead to success!
YES
Yeah very good..
A worthy couple and a worthy project with many challenges and a few centuries of history as well, what could make a better YouTube channel.
I vote for a YouTube channel for this fine restoration project. With great respect… Joe
Awesome work, Andy. It's really turning out well.
time 21.03 WOW!!
