💙 Cine suntem? 1. be careful man when you put your hans to pick up wood from the wood pile , it's near the river , it's brasil land of the snake and you will not die but it will cost you a lot of $$$$ , be careful

  2. Spot On MP, Yaba looks completely different with the doors open. Don't change it, you might need to close of/up if you have a following sea but. If you have a bow thruster switch, add a bow thruster on the end of the switch, it'll amaze you for, the handling. The Rising Sun looks a little out o place, bludy rippa, but, maybe because it hasn't been varnished, like the rest of the place. Thanks doin real well!

  3. Hello there, I've been following this from the start , did you ever do the maths on just using Yamba as the plans or model and just build a new boat it normally is cheaper on labour and materials and time because you don't need to work around things and the work is only once and no woodwork is built on other failing materials

  4. That folding fence may need something to hold it in place behind the 'Sun Door' so it doesn't come flying out when Yaba heels to starboard. The 'empty' space under the counter can hold a trash bin. Seems like every boat builder forgets about space for trash storage and you have to make your own…

  5. Just List what is left of the Boat that you started with ????? I said it before and i will say it again ITS A New Boat ????? Old stuff still on the build Mast's ,Engine , and some bits of Timber Brand new Hull and now new inside fittings i can see why the dogs get the Views lol. Other peoples Money works well. Just saying as i see it.

  6. I just noticied this, that you dont appear to use any drawer slides, at all, anywhere ? Is there a reason for this? Just wood on wood drawers.?

  7. Great redesign of the pilot house, the gate is a fantastic addition, good security and means you can get airflow but keep everything secure. I love the quality of the work xx

  8. I have the same type of construction for the furniture at home, the huge advantage of doing it like, not to mention the ease of construction, this is modularity. If necessary you can remove a door and make some shelf or put drawers instead..for me I used 3d print for the handle and my next goal is to mold and make a black brass

  9. All this space looks really amazing. In my experience, having something to hold onto when the sea gets rough is super important, though. If a wave hits you, you will fall 4 metres through the whole pilothouse. I have no idea how you plan to use Yabá, e.g. only in mostly flat waters, but if you would plan for some more flexibility, and security, you might want to add a lot of handles, poles, walls, even though it clutters the look of your boat. But I am sure you thought of all that or other "experts" have posted this in the comments already 😉

  10. That metal gate should offer you some nice extra break in prevention security when closed behind the other door. Pirates are a real thing and so are thieves in ports.

  11. Something you my consider, and something I learned from living on the salt for many years, is that any single thing that is steel on the boat, even if it is galvanized and painted, change it out to brass. Especially hinges. Their bearing surfaces will start to rust quickly and that will stain the woodwork.
Also, MP, yo mentioned that y’all didn’t have a bow thruster. Yaba is a very large boat, and yes I know that many large boats don’t have bow thrusters, however, the safety of margin they provide when docking is phenomenal. While YABA is on the hard, now’s the time to poke a couple of more holes in the hull.

  12. I cant wait for the renovation of the round table on the aft deck. I think you guys should of protected it more before using it as a workbench.

  13. The pilothouse looks to be coming together. It's going to be a very comfortable place to spend many hours between anchorages. The open design is very well thought out and welcoming. Thanks for the video.
