Hey both of you! Looking amazing out there. You are making me want to get out of the Aussie coast and adventure up to the Asian Coast! Love the Bunnings hat Nick! A quick question, how do you both feel about sailing in the South China Sea? Is it safe?
😅warm diesel engines under a medium load, run them long under a 80% load, then warm down, no short runs, no loading up cold, no stopping when hot, lots of oil changed and you will get a long life👍

I like you have sailed for decades and still underestimate the learning curve of a new boat. The more systems the more problems. You have built in systems off grid that most luxury apartments don’t have have on grid. Ice makers, water makers etc. Point is one must decide what one wants and live with the maintenance or repair consequences. I’m hoping it’s mostly settled down for you now , tough few years are done. Your learning curve is flattening out soon you’ll find the rhythm and it will easier. Big achievement.

Loved seeing you sail. Think you will do a sailing video that is just a some time wa5ch the water, the waves, thae sails,etc. Kind of how it feels under sail? I doubt I will get a chance to sail myself. I can enjoy the feel vicariously.
