  4. Just googled if eating barracuda is ok. The CDC recommends not eating them. If you must, they should be small ones.
    Loved the gorgeous sunsets and amazing water.

  8. The "Green Flash" is definitely a thing. My sister and I were standing next to each other at Mallory Square in Key west and we both saw it and immediately turned to each other and said…did you see that. So yes it's real!! Sort of like a rainbow, a trick of optics created by nature.

  11. When should you not eat barracuda?

    If the name of the month you catch a barracuda in does not contain the letter “R”, it is not safe to eat. This means do not eat barracuda during the following months: May, June, July or August. In other words, warm weather months. Barracudas may harbor ciguatoxin.

  12. You should really get a whisker pole to hold your headsail to downwind. My favorite point of sail was a close or broad reach – REALLY FAST and comfortable.

  17. I have never understood the disdain for running the motor to , Move, Recharge, Make Water,and just get the Heck out of a bad situation. Must not be a true Sailor, and I’m just resigned to the fact of being a Realist.
