Și deși aceasta poate să nu fie barca noastră, este foarte aproape. Și proprietarul carenei numărul unu, S/V BLISS, împreună cu un lung șir de viitori proprietari sunt cu toții dornici să vadă cum se va descurca.   1. You guys are so curious! So very many of you have scratched your heads & asked "Wait, if they did sea trials in France, how the heck did the boat get to France without being sailed??" If you were paying very close attention in an earlier video from the factory, Nikki mentioned that Hull #1 (Bliss) was being shipped to the boat show in Cannes and they were hoping she'd get there in time because a typhoon delayed transport. Yep, you can ship a ship! If you want more info, do an internet search for "trans-ocean boat shipping" or "float-on float-off boat transport."

  3. Beyond cool! Will your boat with those fin thingies be able to raise a hull like this one? Just loved the look of those black sails and the riggings. Looks like a much bigger boat. What do you think ,will it cut your crossing times in half? Can't wait to see yours.

In 1970s, my partner designed and built, inspired from Wharram catamarans popular in the day,– 52' plywood and fiberglass hull, his original aluminum, I beam >mast rig "floating" unit,- 6o' mast, staysail jib. Connecting beams all lashed in like Polynesians do on their boats.. 7000 ponds. Skegs under hulls for sailing into the wind. Sailcloth tramps, in-hull accommodation. She was designed for the inland seas and winds of Salish Sea, PNW. We out raced our Washington State ferries at over 20 knots, flew the hull (scared the bejuezzuz out o fme) Not bad for an amateur designer…before all the high tech materials now available. Lots of model tests … she was a gorgeous bird. This boat you sail here is a very beautiful brilliantly designed modern cat., thanks!

  12. Here because tons of our cruiser friends texted me saying at 3:48 SV everyday saturday was spotted in the wild spotting an HH60 in the wild.

    Backstory: We are a high performance boutique custom carbon fiber light and narrow racing 2013 Lagoon 450 and our buddy boat that day was a 2019 Leopard 45 running up the Sir Francis channel in the BVI. Wind was gusting 25 apparent and we were in our 2nd reef just chillin at our flybridge (beer in hand). This HH passed BETWEEN us hard to the wind like we were standing still in the BVI. Fastest I’ve ever seen a sailboat go on the AIS. After it passed…I did what every sailor would do. Sat back down and finished my beer. 🤙🏼🫡

  20. Nice video! Given the diverse conditions you were able to sail in and what seems to be an unloaded boat, how would you say she performed when compared to the Polar predictions from HH? The moment I saw HH put out the first 44 video I was hooked. The idea of using the hybrid drives to get out of an anchorage, but have the diesel engine for motoring in dead conditions combined with the performance predictions from HH and the luxury within is amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if they had 20 boats already on the books.

    Sailing with 45° TWA doesn't mean 90° tacking angle over ground. Still have to account for sideways drift. Will be more like 100° tacking angle over ground. Still respectable!
