  6. Great looking yacht, although I suspect that a complete refit, bringing her up to a modern vessel will cost as much as the buying the yacht.

  8. Thank you))) I haven't laughed so much for a long time))) 990 thousand euros for this rotten tub!!! Super funny. 35 meters of scrap metal and shabby furniture. For that kind of money you can buy a ready-made hull in Turkey of 45-48 meters, with a new layout and a modern design. The price of this barge is 200,000 euros, and that's a lot)

  13. Xanadu called and wants their boat back. LOL Actually a pretty cool boat, but I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze, would really depend on the condition of the MTU's and running gear.

  16. That wood deck is warping. You simply cannot leave that unattended. It could have been saved but now most likely needs to be replaced. What a shame. Seeing that I know nobody has been saving the paint either. They could have spent just a little time and a few dollars for wax to protect it. Again, major shame. How lazy can you get? It's peeling off the bow and if you leave that open it lets humidity get in between the poly and the metal. If I were to refit her, I'd ceramic coat the inside and outside of the exhaust, and modify the heads with a formerly secret spark plug design used to ignite water in place of diesel or gas. This can be done on any cylinder diameter above 4.3" This was used on the aircraft used to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki, since they found that even after stripping the weight of the aircraft they would not have the range, so the had to dig into a classified patent. I think I've posted a video on this design. It'll run best on saltwater but does more than gas power using freshwater. Asking price 990k euro way too high, especially considering the ancient interior design with wood paneling. I'd be embarrassed to even launch it like that, seeing what great potential she has with exterior looks. This is a 100k boat at the most. Might get something better at auction for half that.

  18. They are asking way way to much for this old boat. You can get a much newer and nicer boat for the millon price tag they ask. Just another dealership trying to rip off someone.

  21. I think she has had her day …. Time to put her out of her misery. If someone has the ridiculous money to refit her, then they have the money to purchase a new turn key package without the stress of breathing new life into something that had its day. People that are rich are rich for a reason … that reason is they don’t waste money or throw it away.

  28. FROM DAY ONE of the Biden-Harris adminstration, gas prices sky rocketed. The cost of gas prices is what has cause so many things in our economy to sky rocket in prices. Think of it, if it costs distributors more in fuel to take a product to market, then the price we pay has to go up to make up for that extra cost.

Could be a lovely classic, reality is this, 1988 build, it needs gutting, new plumbing, new electricals, new interior, taken down to the bare metal, cabins re-confiruring, new navigation package, minimum, 3 to 4 milion to make that up to scratch and to the point where it can be used for charter. good project, more than willing to manage it for anyone out htere thinking of buying, I have done worse that this one

  43. It would depend on the cost of the yacht to begin with. The condition of the hull and engines, to decide whether or not it is a viable proposition, for a full repaint and refit. It doesn’t look like it’s been touched since the early 1990s, except for the flatscreen TVs. Maybe also items in the galley. They also would need replacing, though, to bring them up-to-date. I personally would get a salvage company to strip it out. You might even make yourself a few thousand dollars by doing that. It would also save you money, when getting it totally refitted, as you won’t be paying for labour taking the old stuff out. Then it is up to you, and your budget to the level you would like it refitted. I’m thinking, probably 5 million in total. You won’t find a yacht this size in good condition for less than 12 million. I am sure. 😎
