The outboard made me curious why it doesn't have EFI so i did a little research and apparently the smallest outboard with EFI is a 9.9hp.

What a great mix in this video, sailing, motor maintenance, and a portrait of the artist as a musician.

Thanks Kevin, some very pleasant moments there with the nice wether , familiar views under the boom, over the stern, off the bow dolphins, and cape Sable, I remember that in Joshua Slocums book 'Sailing alone Around the world ' dad read it and built a Spray here in Australia in 1970 to 72, gaff ketch, I could sail that well, I now a have a CSY Sloop, built in Tampa Florida, she is great.

I understand the delay in videos (about 3 months) but bummer. I am a sailor out of the north shore of nova scotia and would have loved to meet up for a beer and tell each other some stories. Ruth Avery is such a pretty vessel, it would be nice to see her in person someday. love your channel!

every gaffed rigged boat i see sailing down wind has its stay sail full of wind why is this? on my bermuda sloop my jib flips from side to side down wind
