I sit on the right to operate a tiller outboard, no reason, just feels comfortable. Lesson learned, dog hair inside the winch, yikes.

Please drain out your battery compartment. Corrosion will set in so much faster when it’s wet. Just fyi . 😎
Taylor sits on the right side. The tiller is angled to bring you further into the boat but slightly to starboard so that your weight is countering the prop rotation. The throttle also rolls on like a motorcycle from there.

Dingy driving: Use your non-dominant hand on the tiller leaving your dominant hand to do other things if you need to or to hold on in rough weather.

Brnkl looks like an awesome product. I would of thought that your seating on the dinghy would be dependent on the tiller location and to a lesser degree your dominant side.
