Admittedly, sailing is just moving your boat through the water with wind power, as we all do, but nothing makes me appreciate sailing as much as the way you depict it in your videos! It is a combination of the seas, the skies, the island tops, the regular and fast motion, and the scenes you pick to show that are what most of us might see in a glance while rocking back and forth all day long in the cockpit contemplating life. It is this serenity "that takes you away to where you're going" in a manner that calms the spirit and enriches the soul, and reminds me why I sail. And I thank you!
I wish I had remembered to note your subscription count a couple of months ago, because it seems to have at least doubled or even tripled in these days as you approached your own island! I'm certain that the home folks "mentioning" your return to the media has gotten the word out to those who would have been following you all along if they had just known about Florence!
You two are legends, followed you for years and appreciated your positive attitude to all your experiences with many different cultures and sailing. Well done on your circumnavigation, a well earned rest and I'm looking forward to your next adventures. All the best best!
While the "big" sailing channels battle with their production vessels, endless dramas and clickbait nonsense. But if you tell us you have an issue with a system, we know it's real, and can be fixed, like..keep calm and sail on😅
Enjoy your videos so much thank you
Matt &Amy. A beautiful video.
Wow! Super film as always. Thanks.
Loved the drone shot as you were leaving Horta, with Pico in the background – just perfect. And know that butterfly feeling so well – we get it at the bgeginning of most long passages, and all the more so when it's such a poignant one like this was.
Great job with the spinnaker douse/gybe/poled out genny footage too – you should seriously consider doing an online sailing school series – no-one does it better.
Well done again you two. Exemplary sea person ship as usual. A benchmark that all the others could emulate.
Watched your adventure from episode one, feeling sad that your journey is nearly over, but I've loved every minute of being part of it.
Can't wait for any refit vlogs and looking forward to next years adventure.
Keep it dry side up and wet side down.
It’s sad we’re coming to the end. I don’t know you, but I’m going to miss you…
Magnificent effort. Thanks so much.
After watching your travels for years now, I just noticed you don’t fly an ensign, or at least no longer fly an ensign. Is there a particular reason. I thought it was a marine requirement to always fly the colours of your registration. Love your editing and narration style. Welcome home!!!
I follow few sailing channels, Friday is a good day… but I have to say, you make the most beautiful shots.
0:08: ⛵ Amy and Matt prepare to sail back to the UK on their boat Florence, facing unpredictable weather and the possibility of storms.
5:04: 🌍 Feeling anxious and sad, the sailors embark on their final passage of their circumnavigation journey back to the UK.
11:10: ⛵️ The weather conditions are not favorable for sailing, but they are trying to make the best of it.
15:42: ⚙️ The windbin was not working due to a short circuit, but after 3 hours of troubleshooting, the issue was resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting the instruments and autopilot.
19:51: 🌬️ The sailors are adjusting their sails to prepare for the evening and night sailing.

Glorious, and a neat fix Matt. I know that you're already home but my heart is so full for you guys. Gulp. Well done x🤗🤗
This pair know what they are up to
Time on land will be a change!!?
500000and the boat looks new welldone
It must have been hard for both you and your parents but I really admire you all for not taking long haul flights all over the world ( kind of negates the whole greenness of wind driven travel). Well done and congratulations – sure a well deserved reunion celebration was had by all!

To save fuses you can trouble shoot circuits by using a 110 volt incandescent bulb. Attach two leads to it with clips and put it in place of your fuse. The 110 volt bulb will burn dimly if there is no short and brighter if there is. It's how we troubleshoot TVs back in the day. Higher current flow brighter bulb, lower current dim bulb.
