  1. Thats Great James. The icing on the cake when you hit Panama would be a complete human skin suit > Silence of the lamps < style made from inexperienced sailors 😉
You should make a Buffulo Bill theme video, just for the fun of it!

  2. Love your Videos but fyi Shit and Crap are not swear words? I hate those Bleeps! Great Boat the Oyster but 3Cats?! i have 1Cat aboard that's enough kitty litter to deal with:)

  3. I’m on board, I am in the same boat. I bought a 38 foot Morgan, with no big boat sailing experience. I did some work on the engine, some minor electrical work and have been doing some day sailing and one overnighter to the Channel Islands. My question is do I replace rigging and possibly haul out to do some more extensive work? I’m hoping your video helps me decide before heading south to Costa Rica, here goes. Thanks for all you do.

  4. Redundancy is very important with sailing and having an HF radio is just another form of redundancy. HF radio isn't relying on any corporation to maintain and operate equipment. HF radio use has declined over the past two decades but it is not obsolete. It's just one more tool that could possibly save your life.

  5. I am looking at replacing my standing rigging with mechanical fittings from Hayn. All my fittings except for the fore and back stay are cracked.
