8. Interesting piece about privacy. In the 90's I worked as Engineer/Mate on a 52 m and when the owner was on board we ran with three crew, Captain, Engineer/Mate and deckhand/stewardess. When they ate on board in the evening we all ate together. No crew uniforms, the owner said when you come to eat wear a clean T shirt. Excellent job with the boat almost always travelling. On long crossings with no owner we would take on extra crew to cover watches. Worked very well.

11. I LIKE the technical side. I had the same thought before you said it, meaning, why WOULD you dock at the marina, typically, if you didn't have to? I expect you have to, occasionally, to fuel, take on supplies and food, etc., but otherwise, I would stay at anchor and ferry in and out.

21. Wonderful debrief! Great video! If I had a yacht I would rarely bring it to a dock. Especially after seeing some of the rates to dock at some of these marinas. I know these guys have a ton of money but still- why pay it if you don’t have to.

30. 73km in 5 days ! Holy moly. You should get a walking shoe sponsor for the channel ! You do the mileage … so we don't have to 🙂 By the evening of Day 5, If I'd done that amount of walking, if god himself had offered me a yacht tour, I would answer only if it was wheelchair accessible 🙂

32. I wasn't going to watch the entire video to find the part the title talked about… Cool yachts, but misleading title.

33. If you want to fly a drone, you have to go somewhere where poor people live, like Yemen! The Uber rich don’t want those things flying over them!

34. When you have to walk that much, you gotta have good shoes, the right shoes will maintain your posture and your whole body will hold up better. I walk/run about 10-12 miles a day for work on concrete and once I got the right shoes it changed my life. I get a new pair every 8-12 months because every shoe I have ever bought starts to break down by 8 months. Right now I'm using the New Balance 1080v13 and they are extremely comfortable, fairly light and they come in black which is required for my job.
