Multumesc pentru vizionare! ps. good luck, AND GOD BLESS
❤ I can serve the beers 😂
Excellent vlog, thanks Ruthie. Superb story-telling and the highest quality editing … you guys are awesome. 🎉😊
The salt water would be really good for those bug bites! I feel for you girl!
You meant you scratch the bites, the bites itch making you think scratching is the solution but that salt water will take out the itch!🤯🛫
Guys vitamin d pills. You can get monthly pills. They ward off mosquitoes and sand flies .
You should of swam in the ocean to help dry out those bug bites!
Amazing adventure
Kinzie is Soooooo Incredibly CUTE 😊
Happy Thanksgiving you'll 😊
In my experience, jacks are not good for eating. . . . .
benadryl and zyrtec 🤙🏻
I used Bruce anchors in the Chesapeake Bay. Had dragging issues. My understanding is that the Bruce is better in rock. I found that a 22 lb. Delta was sufficient for my 3 ton little boat.
The Spade or Rocna may be the best, but are more expensive.
The bugs sure gave you some hickeys 😃
Isla. Eye-la!
W0W!
Thank you for talking about the tides and currents in the Northern SOC. Yours is one of the only channels to mention it. Some guide books do but your real world experience is valuable…( Maybe other channels do as well but I don't follow many between boat refit and work). Grateful for the bread crumbs guys!!
Great video
My guess is that Ruthie is in the type O spectrum since the bugs love her so much. Yes, insects prefer type O's, LOL, look it up. Since it can be so hard to resist scratching, keep some Witch Hazel on the boat, it really helps to heal and stop the itching. Advice from another human that gets eaten alive by bugs every season.
If you have alot of bees try collecting them ..bee testicles in olive oil with a pinch of seasoning make a fantastic pasta for sandwiches or if you collect alot there great in morning roasted then let them cool then add a splash of milk on your honey nut flakes xx
I don’t understand how you guys deal with all of those bees!!!
i remember when you were building the deck/cabin you changed your plans of a wider/larger cabin to wider deck…
would you do it again?
0:01: 🌊 A couple is sailing in the Northern Sea of Cortez, sharing their journey as they navigate their homebuilt boat and dream of floating in the tropics.
4:17: 😣 The narrator describes a desolate and uncomfortable stop on their journey, with beautiful water but lots of bugs and discomfort.
9:31: 🌊 Navigating the unpredictable currents and tides of the North Sea of Cortez can be challenging.
13:59: 🛥️ The video discusses how the narrator is able to afford their lifestyle and the importance of having a dedicated space for editing.
18:09: 🌀 A hurricane is forming and the weather is unpredictable.

Would you guys ever consider building another short cabin top at the rear? It would look pretty cool with a long tiller reaching over so you helm in between cabin tops. And it would give you a proper back cabin.
Ahoy Salt & Tar crew! Loving this episode and all the Ruthie time. It's always a pleasure to see your adventures unfold. Also, a belated Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Stay safe out there, and don't let those pesky bugs get you down. Remember to stay positive and keep sailing forward. Thank you for consistently providing us with sailing masterpieces like this. Fair winds!
How do you deal with the Bee's and Mosquito's spoiling the joy of cruising? Happy Thanksgiving!
At first I thought it was hurricane Norma. But, a little farther back ?
Do not get fly bites. Eat garlic pills.
Bee safe. Lol
Great content. I see you are two months behind on this video and presume therefore three months behind real time.
Toothpaste helps the itch. Definitely no see ums! Where do you think you will be around new years? My family and I are coming down in a bus after Christmas!
Invest and stock, DEET!
Delos had to bail on a spot in the sea of cortez for the same reason. Living in southern louisiana i feel your pain ruthie!
