  3. Love all your videos. Just one thing; Manta Rays are very peaceful and non aggressive BUT remember it was a Manta Ray that killed Steve Austin when he got too close

  4. I went to marquesas Islands this passed July 2023 and noticed how clean all the islands were with no trash.
    The waterfall was spectacular!
    The people there are awesome.
    It was mostly cold and rainy.
    They told me that the weather should be warm and not be raining like it was.

    So happy you were able to visit the islands!!!

  7. Hiva Oa was our favorite port in the Marquesas (1984), keeping in mind that French Polynesia is part of France, having all the benefits of the European Union for local citizens.

  10. It wasn't like that 35 years ago when I visited by boat but the French Government takes good care of it's islands compared to other countries.

  13. That fruit is called Soursop! Or guanabana. It has many benefits including medicinal. It was suggested to me by the locals when I got sick in Costa Rica. You peel it in a way then squeeze the pulp to create a juice then add a small amount of sugar. I had noticed restaurants offered it as a common beverage in Costa Rica 👍👍Enjoying your videos! ❤

  16. My father always told me that the adventure is ALWAYS in the journey. The destination is just the cherry on top. Looking back you might have some great memories of the places you’ve been, but there is no argument that the best memories will be of the journey. Good or bad experiences, when looking back they will all be good memories. Even better when you have someone to share them with. Just don’t blink because before you know it, they will be gone.

  24. The church was an eye opener, wow ! I saw Chez Jimmy (Your a nice guy with a nice family) on Google Maps and Vaituha *If I get names of places and people I look them up and mark them, it helps me later) . Good to know, tons of stuff you can trade ! Manta's are so beautiful. watching everything a second time. Your doing this they way I would. Always talk to the locals if possible. English is limited but there !
