  1. You know Leo, that I’m the guy that’s going to go look into the history. 😉. It’s the small things that matter! 🎉❤

  2. I went a whole year wanting Tally Ho to get in the water as a finished boat… now I don't want this to end. Tally Ho's rebuild has become such a big part of my life now. I'm going to miss everyone. A wonderful collective of artisans and talented people

  3. There is so much lovely bronze bit and cast parts going in the boat all over the place. I miss seeing the casting process since the frames. Are those all done at PTF? Any footage from there?

  4. I was always told, "Don't sweat the petty stuff & don't pet the sweaty stuff!" That electrical system is looking AMAZING! Very neat lay-out & just enough extra wire to move things around. I do the same thing with the terminal strips/blocks myself so that the connections to the equipment itself is not tampered with. Nice 24 hour system as well, looks great!

  5. The compass on my dh’s boat is in this spot aft of the companionway. The mount for the light gets kicked constantly . It is a 30’ sloop so that area is tight.

  6. If any of the crew said they’d kicked the compass, or tripped over it, would they admit it on camera? In front of the boss?! 😉😆❤️

    Okay Leo. Point taken 👍

  7. Boss: "have you stubbed your toe on the compass?"
Worker: oh shit someone finally kicked that death trap, were in for it now "uh, nope"

  8. I would have thought, you would want the port lights be set with the recess on the inside. As you wouldn’t have water pooling in the recess.

  9. Incredibly beautiful and impressive work! So impressive outcome total craftsmanship on every level! So going to miss this when its complete! Hope you take on yet another total disaster and turn it into something much better than the original! Hats off to everyone who has helped this build shine on for much more than the next 100 years plus!

  10. Everyones comments are certainly gratifying, rewarding and certainly worth reading. However, I'm more than a bit curious as to what's up with the Capstan project? I know the Capstan has already been expertly rebuilt and reconditioned but would appreciate an update as to when you're planning on installing it on Tally Ho. To say the least getting such an extremely heavy object on-board and into position will be a major undertaking!

  11. Mushrooms always taste better with a little salt on them… 😋 Those 'Sweat Hooks' look like real 'Toe Stubbers', would it make sense to turn them 90 degrees? They would still work the same, but would allow future 'Barefoot Sailors' to stroll the deck without having to watch for lurking toe mashers…

  12. Loving all the drone shots now the boat is "out". I rewatch Ep 1 a few days ago which was a trip down memory lane and the difference in style. Fair winds and following seas
