A fost această busolă o mare greșeală?

Great videos
Thanks for sharing 😊
You know Leo, that I’m the guy that’s going to go look into the history. 😉. It’s the small things that matter! 🎉❤
If it isn't already Tally Ho will be the most famous boat in the world.
Just made reservations to be there for the 2024 wooden boat festival. Hope Tally Ho is still around. Cheers.
Did I miss it or were the port lights originally from Tally Ho?
The heart of a sailboat could never be in the engine room. yes, I tiny man for saying that, but we are talking work of art sailboat.
I went a whole year wanting Tally Ho to get in the water as a finished boat… now I don't want this to end. Tally Ho's rebuild has become such a big part of my life now. I'm going to miss everyone. A wonderful collective of artisans and talented people
Like every other minute detail on this boat, thats a nice wiring job.
There is so much lovely bronze bit and cast parts going in the boat all over the place. I miss seeing the casting process since the frames. Are those all done at PTF? Any footage from there?
I’ve been watching yall with binoculars from a far. I don’t need these videos
World peace…so kool
I was always told, "Don't sweat the petty stuff & don't pet the sweaty stuff!" That electrical system is looking AMAZING! Very neat lay-out & just enough extra wire to move things around. I do the same thing with the terminal strips/blocks myself so that the connections to the equipment itself is not tampered with. Nice 24 hour system as well, looks great!
100% called it patty would make the carpet matching the drapes joke 😂. He pulled it off well.
The compass on my dh’s boat is in this spot aft of the companionway. The mount for the light gets kicked constantly . It is a 30’ sloop so that area is tight.
Dang still lernin
Nooice! 😎 STOC
No with a tiller the deck mounted compass seems like the way to go. On the 1907 48' OD boat I was on the classic pedestal mounted binnacle worked.
What's wrong with you, It's not read good… it's read gooder.
I'm not concerned about the placement of the compass. I'll never trip on it.
⭐🙂👍
CHEERS from HERE!!!
That new hard dodger is looking great!
In Louisiana we call that a 'Shed House' which is a popular structure to have around.
If any of the crew said they’d kicked the compass, or tripped over it, would they admit it on camera? In front of the boss?! 😉😆❤️
Okay Leo. Point taken 👍
Boss: "have you stubbed your toe on the compass?"
Worker: oh shit someone finally kicked that death trap, were in for it now "uh, nope"
That is one fancy shed cover!
I would have thought, you would want the port lights be set with the recess on the inside. As you wouldn’t have water pooling in the recess.
Glad to see the tent – y’all are gonna need it
Where are the canons being mounted? And how many? Hahahaha
does Patrick have that Joker sickness?
I always feel stress whenever they start drilling holes
Tally Ho is by far the most beautiful “new old” boat in the boatyard. I am sure other boat owners are jealous 😅
Fantastic
?????? How about the capstan ??????
When on Earth are you going to stop gold plating that lady and set some sail?
Been watching from day one. Its like the Bad Chad of boat building! But better
Incredibly beautiful and impressive work! So impressive outcome total craftsmanship on every level! So going to miss this when its complete! Hope you take on yet another total disaster and turn it into something much better than the original! Hats off to everyone who has helped this build shine on for much more than the next 100 years plus!
Mr Shed’s hopes would be pretty cool
Hey leo why do you coat everything with peanut butter?
Everyones comments are certainly gratifying, rewarding and certainly worth reading. However, I'm more than a bit curious as to what's up with the Capstan project? I know the Capstan has already been expertly rebuilt and reconditioned but would appreciate an update as to when you're planning on installing it on Tally Ho. To say the least getting such an extremely heavy object on-board and into position will be a major undertaking!
Great work.
Merry Christmas to the Crew.
Comment for the algorithm
Mushrooms always taste better with a little salt on them… 😋 Those 'Sweat Hooks' look like real 'Toe Stubbers', would it make sense to turn them 90 degrees? They would still work the same, but would allow future 'Barefoot Sailors' to stroll the deck without having to watch for lurking toe mashers…
Loving all the drone shots now the boat is "out". I rewatch Ep 1 a few days ago which was a trip down memory lane and the difference in style. Fair winds and following seas
Factoid:- "Forging ahead." An old blacksmithing/boat building phrase meaning:- To build an iron $#i7house. {Take what you can! Give nothing back!} clink
Heavy seas dousing the cockpit ,saltwater in the engine room because someone forgot. hmmmmmm…. Nope couldn't happen.
Always an enjoyable time watching your videos.
"Don't sweat the small stuff." I love that!
Learned something new. Doesn't happen every day…
Another great video thanks
That was not a standard blue seas 150 safety hub 150… something different..
