  6. When my father died I was in the hospital and never had a chance to say goodbye. Then a number of years later I found myself in the hospital recovering from a shoulder surgery when my mother passed away. It’s tough because there is no feeling of resolution and you feel as though failed both of them. That never goes away.

I can not count the number of births, birthdays, weddings, funerals that I have missed doing this lifestyle, it is sometimes the price we pay as vagabonds upon the waves. But, it is the time that you can spend with family and friends, that make it so much more precious. Fair winds to you.

  11. That's a huge problem in Greece and their docks/slips etc. Dropping anchors putting out lines. Always seems there is going to be another boat or your own boat hooking onto someone else's chain or lines every time. Basically, every YOU TUBE channel I have seen in Greece actually the MED there's a problem.
    So regardless of if Ross stays or goes. This issue will still be.
    My condolences Ross to you and your other family members. Noah they will be other times you will get to the UK. Bristol you were going Ross I have couple cousins that live there. I guess now for over 30 years. Never been there myself but will hopefully next time I go to UK for a visit.

    Ross and Laura and Laura have you ever discussed Laura taking some sort of a know it sailing operations coarse (BASIC) Anyhow in this situation wouldn't have done any good as even being the captain wouldn't have prevented the negligence. of the other sailboat hooking the lines.

  17. Sorry for your loss, I know how disappointed Noah must feel. Oh well, stuff does happen. John Lennon was right. "Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans”. Most importantly, how is Josh feeling (and have you repaired the engine issue)? You can always take the family on a vacation another time. 😼

Per il vapore che esce dalla marmitta, non arriva abbastanza acqua di mare al circuito di raffreddamento, se Ross ha pulito di recente il filtro dell'acqua di mare , 1) non ha chiuso bene il tappo 2) ha posizionato male il filtro in plastica dentro il bicchiere nero del filtro dell'acqua di mare, se guarda la valvola sifone brake vedrà delle bolle di aria, arrivano dal bicchiere nero, è un difetto di tutti i motori Volvo penta fino al 2009 ,poi la Volvo ha cambiato il bicchiere nero con un altro che non ha difetti di chiusura. Usando un cutter , Ross, deve rifilare il tappo nei bordi i Terni e vedrà che non entra più aria,Jerry xstmas

  25. People do not have empathy for animals in Greek? Typical Greek Animal Neglect Greece Animal cruelty knows no bounds Abuse I would kill a human over a kitten or a dog anyday very sad Cruelty? In certain This is Sick I never go to Greece country's the people do not care about there animals. Tourists SHOULD Boycott Greece! 😡 Lot of wrong things with this country. I see it on you tube. This Greek university student apparently thought it would be funny to pour hot oil on a stray dog and film it with his cell phone. It's a particularly heinous example of the abuse that goes on every day in places where too many people treat animals like trash.

    Laura I have faith in you that if you absolutely had to get out in the case of an emergency You could do it. Rush. I’m so sorry. All this happened just before you left. However, if it was gonna happen there at any time, I’m glad it happened then. I know that had to be a tough decision.
