Holly is awesome child Good job
That Bread looks so frickin' good!
love the channel Bro . its funny when she brought up Norge , As i live aboard here in a small 28ft boat, in a place called Kjøpmannskjær , the people here in my small community bring me wood for my wood burning stove as its -6 deg here now , some food and ask me how i'm doing mosts days , very special people here the Norwegians ,as i only met a few of them in the summer time here , im from Australia and am on a pier with electricity , and have not documented my voyage, but am glad to be here it's a beautiful life , don't want to be famous just living my life this way but it's a wonderful thing when she talked about norge, and wonderful life either way… merry christmas to you brother and tusen takk for your channel …
This is so cool! I remember watching your interview with Holly and being super impressed with how awesome her parents sounded when she described them. They have certainly lived up to the hype! What an incredible family of sailors.
Loved it. No wonder Holly has turned out to have such a cool personality, what an amazing childhood it must have been.
Awesome!!!
I follow you and wind hippie as I cruise. I love this content ❤ fair winds my brother ⛵️
A truly inspiring combination of competence and a laissez-faire attitude. Amazing people
Awesome series ..thanks
Great interview! The Martins have been role models for a lit of people who ended up sailing. Gracias James! Feliz Navidad ⛵️🎄⛵️🎄⛵️🎄⛵️🎄⛵️
Why aren’t these people sailing any longer? Sup wit dat? Holly is awesome, but Holly and James are better together.
I Really appreciate you upholding the traditions of the seafaring bard, and helping to share the lives of these amazing people and their stories. Of all the cool things you do in your life, this is likely to be the one that will Outlast all others, thank you
I know now where Holy got her amazing character and sailing ability. Amazing family. Thank you, James. 😊
Hey James thanks for another awesome episode mate, absolutely 💯 loved listening to this one there story is so fascinating and inspiring that's for sure! Cheers mate and stay safe out there 👍
Just what I needed to get me through this fkd up traffic on the 15 fwy going to the High Desert. Holly is a bad ass and a big inspiration of mine. This is so cool.
Great interview!!
this is a one of my favorites you have done. My partner and I live on our production boat saving up to "bulletproof" it. was the only boat we could afford. So stories like this always give me inspiration and confidence that "it is possible" and "you don't need all this fancy stuff".
You rallied off so many names of various sailors at the end its hard to hear and google them. (and try to spell them correctly) Any chance you could list them in the description or comments? Want more stories! Thanks for all you do!
Such amazing life adventures! Thank you for sharing. I’ve watched several of Holly’s YouTube videos and was always impressed with her adventurous spirit. Now I understand why Holly is such an accomplished young lady. I hope both Holly and James start writing short narratives of their solo sailing experiences that eventually become chapters in their own book. I just looked up the book, “Into The Light: A Family’s Epic Journey” by Dave and Jaja Martin. I’m glad you mentioned the book before the end of the video. Glenn Evans
Thank you for doing this series of videos! Keep up the good work!
I'm SO glad, there are still that many legendary world citizen sailors, and their next and next next…. generations. Their free spirited soul will going on forever, carrying on forever forever. Just hearing your voices talking about adventures can be very soothing. THANKS!
isnt YT a great way with channels like yours to broaden your take on life, love hearin how others have lived theres. good job man
This just proves, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree…
Some of us know what he's talking about on photography. I still love shooting film. I learned on digital but now i leave my digital camera at home and keep my film camera with me for opportunities. Some things are better the old way.
