Site web// www.rm-yachts.com

  1. Hi! This boat seems focused on performance sailing, isn't it? The interior is nice but somewhat spartan. From what you showed I felt more attention was given to the outside spaces. BUT proportionally the kitchen space is very good! I believe the designer likes cooking, hahaha! Thanks for the review. See you on the next one. Oh, before I forget, Merry Christmas to you all! Fair winds!

  2. Another good tour, so thank you very much. Am sure the new owners will be happy, but not my type of boat.
Being 56 and having no sailing experience since i was 18, i tend to favour the heavier motor sailor types like Nauticat and Colvic. Basically relax and go slow.
Question. Is there a modern motor sailor ? As everything ive seen on you tube, seems to be at least 25 years old..??

  3. I started off heavily biased against this boat because – Plywood, having built a very expensive one from hardwood marine ply that disappointed, plus the regular Cruising area from and to the Caribbean is Argentina during nurricane season, and Brazil for example, has an area of Termite Mounds at least as large as Britain, and I don’t fancy sailing on a Termite Restaurant. But this Boat Tour was that good, it was clear to see the necessary Termite Barrier Coating finish has been applied everywhere it was needed. If it’s Saildrive, then the Volvo is the best Choice at least until a Yanmar of 80 plus Horsepower is chosen either the ZF Saildrive option, but not the rotating 360 degree version imho. The plain ZF, to me is as good as Volvo’s. What is needed for personal Construction Choices looks easy to substitute or build in or have as Custom options, so this does look like a boat that can be made to survive my long term demands. With me being a right Fussy Pants – to say the least – that makes this a pretty rare Sailboat. Great Tour imho. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to All. Bob. 👍🌟🌟🌟❤️

  4. Great boat – this is a sailor's boat. Everything is right where you need it. Bonus on the sliding cupboards and real chart table. Might look a bit spartan but this is a lot easier to clean and care for, especially if you have to fight mold. The ply core construction is a nice feature I think. Makes for a very strong and light hull. Good one!

  5. Interior is lacking the wood finishes and carpentry that I am such a fan of. White and bright though this is, it’s really not for me. Those carpentry skills might be lost forever due to a lack of demand. The pre-2000 Amal’s and Oysters still had the beautiful woodwork. That is probably the direction I would choose to go. I did not see a dishwasher or clothes dryer and the engine compartment looks very tight. Otherwise, it looks ok topside, nothing really special.

  6. How far back must the bow thruster be on a flat hull. I guess its retractabe.
I agree about the compass, but at the table is not good because you sit so far to the side on a wide boat , so its look down or sideways , maybe 2 on the comings strait ahead ,
