Good old Atlas!
Finding lost objects: it's even worse when you are a female! I think it was Erma Bombeck who said, "My uterus is not a tracking device."
adam needs a chill pill … no one’s here for grousing on youtube about shipmate’s peccadillos
Davies from Llanelli! Small world 🙂 Looks wonderful boys thanks for showing us a place that I really don't know much about – except that it is mostly beautiful and your video proves it.
My husband does the exact same with his glasses!
Lin and Larry Pardey.
“In 1985, during a voyage to New Zealand, the two purchased a distressed small boatyard and cottage on Kawau Island, 30 miles north of Auckland. This became their home base but did not stop them from voyaging onward. In total, they voyaged together for 40 of the 51 years they spent together.” Wikipedia.
I would save the stuffing and make another pillow for like the lower back or something. Never pitch the lovely stuff. I make “bone” pillows that you can use to rest the head and neck against. Just Enuff stuffing for a good “bone” pillow.
Nice
amazing
You might be right Luke might have some cognitive issues although!!!😂
A beautiful place to live!!!
If you ever get the chance to eat Kettle Chips from the USA YOU WILL BE ADDICTED!!! 😂
Wonderful video stay safe!!!
Great video, Look forward to watching you visit Australia
Can't wait until you guys get to Australia… That stick insect would have gone for your jugular. Take care…
Fast approaching 20k subscibers now lads well done !!! Fair winds
I just looked at some boats in Marsden cove marina 😂
I dont think it was a kiwi . It was probably weka , they are kind of similar, but kiwis only come out at night and have a long beak.
Great to see you creaming down to Kawau- we ‘ve done that trip a ‘few’ times over the past 40 years in similar conditions (or worse) too – Bon Accord Harbour is always most welcome. The brown birds were weka.
Beautiful filming guys. Watched you on a big screen. Atlas looks fantastic! ⛵️
Addictive viewing, keep it going lads 👍
The futures so bright you gotta wear shades 😎 After asking “1000 times- where are my sunglasses” Adam finally cracked 😜👍😉
Great episode boys what a lovely island it looked amazing and meeting a guy who’s family originated from Llanelli South Wales amazing that’s where I live Keep these vid’s coming Stay Safe boys 🏴🏴
Morning from Abercynon lads…Could you mention the day and date when you post an update…thanks
Answer the bloody question then ' do you know where his sunglasses are!?' 😂
Hi guys great to see you sailing in part 1 of chapter ? Need to work it out from around the UK being chapter 1 or your first year of sailing being Chapter 1 which would be easier to work out than having a chapter for each stage. Having said that a chapter for each journey would have much more kudos. Love the stick insect. He was obviously looking for your sunglasses which were on the top of your head 🤠
Please lads tidy up our vessel by taking up the slack in topping lift and reefing lines. Safer and more seamanlike. Capt John.
Sun screen ,sunburn, sun glasses keeps your eyes safe. did you know eyes can get sun burn, yup look at the sun for 1 minute did it hurt ? Wear em if you got em, that's how Capt.. hook got one eye or was it when he got the hook his eye was itchy. Good walk about,
Beautiful island. Thanks for the ride!
Awesome 😊
Love you found a Kiwi… James from Tritea spent ages hunting for one.
Annoying about Starlink 🙁
Super safe sailing and hope you guy's stocked up well on the Cheese, look forward to your next video Exellant video's from Swansea
Hi guys. I was in NZ at the beginning of last year and was surprised at how many people were descended from the Welsh.
I took out my 3 grandsons Welsh rugby shirts that they wore to a Waikato chieftains game in Hamilton. Diw! The amount of smiles and comments they got was incredible!😊
Tip… the solution I find is to have ten pairs of cheap sunglasses. That way you are always falling over sunglasses. It also works with cheese as it’s easier to find one block from 10 large blocks of Mature cheddar scattered about the boat than it is to find one. You can thank me later!
How will Starlink work at sea without alteration to the dish , have you got the standard dish or maritime ?
Beautiful scenery. It's amazing how many places in the world one can find peacocks and seagulls. Where did all the people go?
While I love watching the ocean passages, I'm really more of a coastal sailor myself so I'm looking forward to seeing how circumnavigating NZ compares to your trip around GB. I'm looking forward to learning more about NZ as I don't know much about the coast of it.
Here we go again. good luck Guys 👍👍 Oh, whats brown and sticky ?????
A STICK groan😒😒 Best Regards, Bernie SW Wales UK
Well off to a good start that island looked amazing. I often wonder how people make a living on those islands. Nice to see some Welsh descendants as well. Bet that made you feel more at home guys 👍👍👍
Looks gorgeous there . I hope you made another pillow with the extra stuffing he he . X
you boys are going to be dizzy with circumnavigating things!
Check the cable is pushed into both ends, especially the dish end. I've seen a few comments about this with new users being fooled by it
Very nice, guys. I was about to embark on that sail from Whangarei to Kawau when my transmission failed right off Marsden Cove. I will do it in April instead, but no further south than Auckland for me. You had a lovely day for the hike, my NZ friends say it has been raining and windy most days, so they are coming here to visit in Cape Town where it is windy and sunny and warm and the kitesurfing is awesome.
Great ep guys hate waiting a week though how does this patreon site work and how often does the donation get taken ??
