  1. Do you guys ponder what it must have felt like for like the Pilgrims- 66 days, no freezer, no movies. It seems like there's even a little fear and a little boredom doing this today- Hard to imagine 400 years ago. Or good lord, the slave ships.

  2. Renee, I've been watching your channel for a while and you are a filmmaker. I would suggest working on a storyline for the episode rather than the 'vlog style' day in the life if you want to evoke those kinds of emotions. Kinda like when you were catching all the fish on the crossing with Anna.

  3. as Keith was saying it just keeps going &going &going i thought to myself damn it now you have gone and jinxed it lol and Keith as we all know Mr. Murphy is never far away lol glad the water maker did not have visit from Murphy stay safe all

  4. Makes me think of all of the people that have made ocean wide crossings throughout history!! What was it like with no deep freezer, starlink, or radios? Many of those people had a one way ticket with no idea of had no idea what would be in store for them after arriving to their destination! Thanks for provoking thought and sharing your journey!

  5. Dear Mizz Renee,

Let me put your concerns to rest. Were there to be a conclave of the elements, Howling Gales, Torrential Downpours, All-engulfing waves, and Cloud-To-Boat lightning, it'd sound something like this:

The Honcho: Guys, we're goin' after Zatara. I'm talking GIT 'EM, where y'all unleash your full Take No Prisoners fury.

The Elements: You got it, Boss. Uh… hang on a sec… did you say "Zatara?"

The Elements put their heads together. ("Mumble. Mumble. Mumble.") Boss, do you know Captain Whittaker?

Honcho: Naw. I just see Zatara skating across the pond at ten knots like they didn't have a care in the world and that pisses me off.

Again, The Elements put their heads together. ("Mumble. Mumble. Mumble.") Boss, we know the Skipper, and we think that it'd be a bad idea to mess with him. So, Boss, with respect, we're gonna pass on this one.

Honcho: Somebody. Pull the file on Gone With The Wynns…

  6. That was a great opening to this video. By far the best opening, but I still like the opening credits you always do over the many years I have been following your journey. The drone shot really captures the scale of the boat compared to the vast ocean that surround you. Music goes well to the video.

  7. We've been following you guys for about a year now and I have to say, your natrual style of sharing what's going on has made us feel like part of your little family! Thanks for that and we wish you a wonderful time as you return to the States and figure out what's next. -Benjamin

  8. Night Vision Monocular – Have you considered having one? They are very affordable now, a good Bushnell is less than $300us. Great for when you pull into an anchorage at night… A Thermal Monocular would be great in fog and other times, also in the $300us price range. Both would be nice to have when looking out for pirates. 🎉

  9. I wouldn’t like to be on the ocean with a world unseen underneath and unpredicted squalls that could bring high waves. But if I had to, then I’d feel good knowing Keith was in charge. He pays close attention to avoiding storms, handling things if they turn & with what he’s learned & taught everyone, you have an exceptional team. It seems like a good time to learn new recipes, practice hobbies & enjoy family time.
