Ne petrecem ultimele zile în Broome furnizând Nutshell și așteptând sosirea noilor noastre baterii cu litiu. Apoi, în sfârșit, ne îndreptăm spre Kimberley. După o navigare peste noapte, petrecem noaptea la Beagle Bay și apoi ne îndreptăm spre nord, spre Thomas Bay. Magnus instalează bateriile cu litiu și suntem, din nou, alimentați. Este o mare ușurare să avem puterea adecvată la bord după ce bateriile noastre s-au defectat în navigarea noastră către Indonezia. A trecut ceva timp și ne-am cheltuit bateriile vechi pentru a ne asigura că nu s-au defectat complet înainte de a putea obține pe cele noi. Am putea să-i taxăm, dar ei nu țineau controlul și după multe investigații am decis că nu sunt suficient de buni pentru ca noi să continuăm cu ei. Streeters jetty Broome about 15years ago they use to tie the small cruise ships in the creek where you came into the jetty in cyclone season as there was know where in Broome to put your boat during the wet. Most of the Kimberley cruise boat go down to Perth these days
That new tinny is really a blunt nosed skiff and I think will capsize even more readily than your last one which had additional buoyancy. It also looks overpowered. Time will tell but I would have persevered looking for a second hand one.

Wendy have there ever been any Bigfoot sightings in the Kimberly, don’t know if that’s what he’s called down there, but I’ve heard there have been sightings of an unknown Cryptid.
