VIZITAREA UNUI ATOL LA DISTANȚĂ CU O POPULAȚIE DE 8 PERSOANE! - (Episodul 244)

That could well be your best episode yet! I am sorry you missed Maupiti, it is remarkable too, but Maupihaa is a wonderful way to say good bye to French Polynesia. I was lucky to have much less current going in and out. And when I was there it was just the mother and daughter, and they put a feast on for me and a couple on another boat as we both brought provisions the sister in Maupiti requested. It was very special, but not as special as completing a new building with them. And I too got caught in a maramu sailing to Beveridge Reef, but managed to persevere and had a great time there.

  2. Wooooooow This episode was unique on so many levels. I've seen many many episodes from Delos and others where you come up on a make shift "yacht club" with a bunch of falling apart shacks but this one was absolutely beautiful ! And done in true french Polynesian style, I'm going to have to look at this a little more closely ! The Toilet stuff reminds me of old episodes from Brian of Delos when he pretty much kept the boat packed with people. He hated those jobs and should have delegated them like you did. So many things to touch on, Crosby CSNY style music ! Cook Islands coming up, VERY RARELY SEEN ! I saw a video or page where a restaurant had been started which specialized in Coconut Crab Feasts ! They had become very famous and highly rated ! So, If I get the chance, they are on my menu. Crabs are somewhat unique, We dropped them into pots still alive uncleaned, and cleaned them after cooking. Simple but unique ! From what I'm seeing, taking a boat through a passage with the current behind you would be very similar to taking a raft down a narrow complex path. One trick was to do it backwards for more control with your rudder. In a raft, the guide is the rudder ! I was a pro raft guide for many years.

  3. Great episode! Loved how the you and the other crews came togather to help with the roofing. Parley Revival would be my only watch if I could only have one. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Capt. Colin, Jamie and Team PR, you continue to show your love and awesome human spirit to strangers, now friends for life, to them, as well as us, from the other side of the world. Not surprised, just marveled by the impact you and the Team PR make along the way. A new motto – "Colin and PR Crew were here!!!" Cheers and God's speed with the wind at your back!!

  5. Probably the only place this doesn’t sound odd. But you are doing exactly what is my ambition. I aim to get sailing as soon as I can and plan to take all my tools so I can help people… nothing better. Keep living the dream.

My eyes were oddly watering by the end of the film.

  6. 😂 the shiter again pipe looks to small when you get to your homeland upgrade to bigger hose you can you a reducer at each end of hose to fit Hardwear! Just a thought 💭 nice to help out others good job 👏

  7. Thank you for showing us places where most of us people will never get the chance to visit. Life is beautiful cheers bro

  8. Cudo's to you Colin, for having such a diverse group of crew (irrespective of age and background) over the years. Very refreshing to see, and a pity other sailing channels don't take your lead!

  9. This is Beautiful. When ya leave a place better then when ya stepped a foot on it. just awesome. can you imagine if every cruiser did this. how better off any one would be . just lovely

  10. This is awesome!! I recently started watching Parlay and ive been on a content roller-coaster, absolutely epic content!! I hope you guys explore South America at some point l, that'd be sick to watch 🤠 Best wishes from all the way in Perú 🤙🏻

  11. Parlay once again you have changed someone's life forever. Colin, Jamie and the crew, your generosity to this family will be remembered and talked about for a long time, this is what sailing should be about. You are goodwill ambassadors wherever you go, and I admire you all so much. Keep up the good work, and please stay safe.

  12. This is why I watch you Colin and crew. I got hooked when you were repairing Parlay , although I haven't watched your earlier videos because it's all about looking forwards, not at the past. Just promise you will all just keep being the best version of you that you could possibly be. Like this.

  13. Im always imoressed by the sailing community and their generosity to the locals. Well done, crews of the vessels involved and to all of you. Fair winds and following seas ❤
