This boat is built like a tank!! Is this typical to build a boat with a thick layer of high-quality cedar and then cover with this much glass, inside and out?
Every week, when I’m in Skovshoved Havn, checking up on my little Albin Vega, “Saoirse”, I look out on the Øresund and think “there’s a mighty ship being built over there!”

When looking you glassing, when finished, have you thought about fiber in a steel pipe…!? As a sacrifice thing if crushing in to log or smaller objects…!? If a container, beeing steel it might help a little bit… and wood/fiber absorbing impact energi…!
Malin talked about perhaps insulating the barn. Saw a YT video of a guy mixing saw dust (not expresso kind) with cement and water in a frame making blocks to insulate a building for free almost….
Johan, compared cost for what you done now with cedar and fiber or if steel beam and steel plates….!?

The old style hay bales make very good insulation! Stack a single layer around the walls of your work area.

Another great video. If you need to, take a day or two off to recharge. Just wondering if you will be adding a metal "collision" plate on the bow to protect from minor collisions or anchor fluke scratches? Just a thought.
