🥰❤🔥congrats on 10.1k!!!
Congratulations on your first passage
That puts a whole new twist on fishing 😂❤😂
Only in the in the sailing world 😮😅😂❤
I’m sure it’s nit all fun and games but I’m pretty jealous of your adventures…
Excellent sail on this episode ! Congrats on your first off-shore adventure.
Love the Orca encounter and so glad to know that in the PNW there are no concerns about Orcas attacking the rudder. Orcas are wonderful creatures and so incredibly intelligent.
James, I’m not exactly sure what to say about your fishing exploits but catching your anchor rode is definitely one fishing story that is worth embellishing 😂 .
Looking forward to next week’s episode.
Wow ! Another well put together video, beautiful scenery and Orcas. Keep up the great work you guys. Oh it makes me miss my days of coastal BC cruising. Fair winds , congrats on 10k.
Big fish! LOL
I have to say I noticed you sail often (it seems) with the chain locker open and the Rocna just "sitting there", that might bite you at some point.
One rogue wave and that anchor could go bashing around.
Cheers,
a.
Awsome stuff. Thanks for the ride…
You are the first of the sailing vlogs (that I’ve seen) that have touched on the notion that sea mammals, with echo location, are curious of hydro-dynamic shapes (other than fish) and respond. Great insight!
That's the funniest ending yet!
What a great first sail off shore for you and Uinta ! Your smiles say it all – a day you will always remember. Thanks for taking us along.
A little something for the new rod!
I love the whales and it was the last time i was on boats . 2002 with Prince Of Whales of the Victoria water front .2005 Out of Vancouver and met the whales in Active pass . Tide change made me a little dizzy .2011 on land in 2011 at French beach . Same day same group of whales swam right under my feet on the breakwater in Victoria . Seen them a few years later near the breakwater .Walked it yesterday and seen star fish ,, So warm with the pineapple express .Enjoy the week and hope you don't get to much water were you are .
Now that you’ve done that bit of off-shore you are ready for the west coast of Vancouver Island. Most of the hops between inlets are less than 50 miles so it’s just a matter of watching the weather.
Beautiful being off shore I love it ❤❤❤❤
Magnificent!!! Thank you!
Wow, that’s a lot of anchor! You should sleep well when you’re on the hook.
Thanks for our Sunday morning entertainment mates.
One of your best!
yewwww big water sailors right there !!
Really enjoy your videos. Totally get the feeling when you accomplish something after believing you could do it one day and then realizing it is happening in that moment..
Caught your own anchor rode. That is funny but, Im not going to laugh because I'n sure it will happen to me at least once.
What the heck were you doing with that rod. I’ve never seen technique like that before 😅
Great video, especially your drone footage. Orca shots perfect, we had an Orca swim under our towed dinghy lift it out of the water and dive under the sailboat, very exciting. SV Brooklyn PNW.
Great episode. Beautiful scenery, amazing Orcas and good sailing. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
P&J
Oh lordy..Allison your laugh is so infectious i was laughing so hard…Thank you love the channel.
Whoa!! Its crazy how those logs just disappear and then bammy come out of no where.
Thank you for another awesome video! We so look forward to your posts and the new stories you have to tell, keep it up 👍
glad your offshore adventure went well, happy for you guys 🙂
Oh my goodness! The orcas! ❤
Once more…..great episode. Personnally I think orca's are smarter than the average human. We do not understand them but they know all about us. And catching your anchor……hilarious.
So awesome. The ending 😂😂😂😂
You have the most beautiful infectious laugh ♥️♥️♥️
Flapping leech will damage the sail quickly.
Thanks
Thats funny, looked good while fighting that big fish-anchor, had me convinced 😅
Nice video guys. Thanks
Congratulation 🎉. I used to sail from Campbell River and Duncan. Moved 14 years ago back to Switzerland due to political correctness bs. Currently I am preparing a 33 Ft Sailboat to Sail from Mallorca, Spain to Vancouver Island. I can't wait to see all, what you experience. Most of all, you truly are both an inspiration. A very, very simple, old Sailboat, not even an Anchor winch. And yet your heart and stamina are always a great joy and inspiration to watch. I really, really love your channel the most. You are natural, no overdoing it just simply REALITY, JOY AND TRUTH.
Great video !
