Yes you hit the nail on the head with Tudor and Rolex. I settled for a Tudor GMT S&G and I do love it. But I'm waiting for the black submariner date since it's still not available to me from an AD. Also the only thing that bothers me is the fit on my Tudor. I can't find the sweet spot. It's either too loose or a bit snug. I really don't want to sell it. It's my first luxury watch.

Do you think were going to see a 70th anniversary (platinum jubilee anniversary) Tudor Submariner BB 58. Stainless with black dial and silver hands and triangle 3–6–9. That would be killerrrr. Hope
The IWC 1832 is over $25K, not just a "little" more than a current one. More like double.
The P01 is probably my favorite Tudor ever made. I should have pulled the trigger years ago!
Great show. Good coverage of my favorite Tudor's, which are non Black Bay variants – North Flag, Heritage Advisor, Fast Rider Black Shield, P01. Also a big fan of the Pelagos series with a recent favorite of the Alinghi Red Bull watches.
Tim, great deep dive into Tudor. Are they using METAS certified movements now? Or was that only the Black Bay Ceramic & limited models?

Tudor movements (Kenissi), or ETA have always been extremely accurate… something I personally value.

I love that Redbull FXD chrono…but that valcro strap really turn me off. What the hell…this is supposed to be luxury watch, what is Tudor thinking? Tudswatch? Look so cheap…I would prefer the rubber anytime.

I own several Omega watches and they offer great value. Then in 2023 (I think) a graduate from Harvard Business School went to work for Omega and decided they wanted to control Omega resale prices so they trend on the grey market like Rolex does. Omega lowered the discount to the AD and raised the retail price at the same time so there was less room to negotiate the price. As a result the best way to buy Omega is on the grey market. It will be interesting to see where they land in the rankings despite being the second largest Swiss manufacturer at 600,000/year.
Only Tudor I own is the P01, had a BB harrods was nice but prefer the p01
Deep dive on a specific brand is a great idea which I hope will be repeated. My vote is for JLC next.
