Eram amândoi îndrăgostiți de navigație și la scurt timp ne-am îndrăgostit unul de celălalt 😉 După multe călătorii și închiriere de bărci am decis să ne cumpărăm propriul iaht cu vele. În 2018 am devenit mândrii proprietari ai „Tranquillity”, un vas cu vele Scanmar de 33 de picioare construit în Suedia în 1985! Nu chiar un crucișător cu apă albastră, ci o barcă mică, minusculă și robustă și o iubim! După 3 ani de vacanțe de navigație, am decis să facem pasul cel mare și să planificăm să începem să navigăm în lume. O problemă minoră am devenit părinți pe 19-02-2019 ai lui Liz! Acest canal va fi despre navigație, reamenajarea unei ambarcațiuni cu pânze, navigarea cu un copil (copil mic), planificarea de a naviga prin lume, traversarea Oceanului Atlantic, Oceanul Pacific și, bineînțeles, viața noastră atunci când navigăm în jurul lumii pe micuța noastră barcă cu pânze. . Congratulations all of you! I grew up in Auckland (on the North Shore and in the Eastern suburbs) – great city. If you carefully chose where you live, Liz will be zoned into a good school and will have an awesome educational and culturally rich experience with her classmates. Working on the Nth Shore, you'll probably want to live there, instead of having to cross the Harbour Bridge to/from work every day.

So many lovely memories… it's a pleasure to watch your movie with all the places we also have visited before… our kids were around the same age as Liz, when we visited Cape Reinga and went sand boarding in the sand dunes!
I really do understand your decision to settle down in NZ. Definitely not the worst country to live in. As you already know we have lived there for a shorter period of time and enjoyed every single day. Our kids really liked the school they attended in Auckland even if schools in Sweden are also very good (as least the ones our kids have attended).

PS: Yes, Autosol is great! Made in Germany! We have used it plenty of times. I just used it a couple of days ago to polish our propeller and even our tank which I hade to take out and clean in the process of the engine change (used Autosol only on the outside of the tank though).
