I appreciate they've said he can't because he's not wealthy enough but opinion is not factual. It's all a bit like the fiasco surrounding Phi in Canary Wharf – (we think you're a naughty boy so we'll take your toys, but we can't prove anything)

25. I have no proof about who owns any of these yachts but the US government can only confiscate private property if a court orders it after proof beyond doubt of a violation of US law. The burden of proof is on the government just as it is in Cuba if they confiscate private property. You questioned the lawyer’s multiple responses about currency and ownership, but this is standard legalese. Lawyers say A is false but if you prove that A is true, then B is false. If B is true then C is false. This is to prove that the claimed owner is actually the owner in all cases. I agree that this may be a straw owner well hidden but the government must prove its suspicions. Throughout the world there are crooked governments who claim illegality in order to confiscate private property. The Western governments must all be held to an actual legal standard. This is why the UK seizure of Phi is so despicable as well.

45. That's ridiculous, a yacht is not a legal entity. Only Companies and Individuals qualify. I might as well sue a brick wall which jumped out in front of my car!

46. There's certainly funny-money going on, as the transfer of assets within a Group can happen with the creation of an intercompany loan for the value, but only if both are entirely owned by the same holding company: otherwise differences in valuation must go to profits and be taxable.
