I think Australian border control do log everything. I am thinking that if your information becomes inconsistent it then becomes suspicious. This could be for type of activity but also welfare of the sailor onboard

What a peaceful sail. I would love to see the HH44 or another fast catamaran sailing with you there. According to HH44 from what I have seen when a mono like yours doing 9 knots then they should be doing 12 while regen is on. I need more info to be sure.

Just a thought – maybe the Australian CG asks you the same questions repeatedly to catch (someone) in a lie or maybe if you do change your story it might signal you are in distress… I'm sure it is not a lack of organization – its deliberate.
