Heck yeah who wouldn't know Uncle Gadget? He was one of the best animated cartoons ever seen.

Come sail on over to Ireland let's go for pints
She really is a beautiful boat. If something simple like a starter doesn't work the odds are pretty good that the problem is electrical, bad connections on power or ground. You did a fine job on the power side cleaning the connections but didn't do the same on the ground side. Lessons learned. By the way, good job changing out that starter.
Clean all terminals with a variety of sandpaper, wire brushes, etc. Smear some dielectric grease on there then reassemble
Try spraying the main sail guides with silicone spray
what is it you are looking for ? i can sail and read charts but ectronic are best for sailing, i had a 32' twin engine and would go out weeks at a time and spent years on a sail boat , i understand what it take and like solar and so on
Don't have your boom on tight, pulls the cars back in the track making lifting the main harder also helps to loosen the outhaul. Load in the sail while raising = friction = harder to hoist.
Congrats on solo sailing.
Hang in there. Looks like you are doing just fine.
I’ll get you next time gadget…. NEXT TIME
I like Otto, the little German boy for an auto pilot. Did you pick up Javi south of the border?
Guide to successfully sailing alone…….handle things as they come.
Good job Audrey!
Watched Inspector Gadget when I got home from school, you are awesome by the way!
I have a slip in the Bahamas you could stay there for free just for some maintenance of the property
You are a beautiful lady and you have a lot of courage to do what you do. Keep it up you are great.
A proposal, if you ever head to Japan to go visit & see the culture & country, will you pick me up in Chesapeake bay and take me with you for a month or so. I would love to go to Japan & am making a goal, but can honestly think of no better way to travel.
Hey swab. C'mere. Listen up. Now, the way it works shipboard is, you do your job. You do it good, you get a better job. Maybe you get promoted from swab to mate.
There is a cordless driver for the winches
The tool you need for your winches is a Ewinch handle
Woohoo! Go Aubrey! Love the pirate ship, she's beautiful!
Well done,,,,,
Beautiful miss lonestar, I still hope to take you flying one day..
Love the "barrel of Tequila"…… Love ALL of your episodes….
If I was 20 ….. 10 years younger
You are a very beautiful woman, I would love to be able to sail with you.
51footer is no easy job to handle and anchor etc well done
da
da-da-da-da inspector gadget!
Great job with the anchor and sails Aubrey but what a workout. Your poor back! I agree with other commenters that you need a remote powered winch for the main if you're singlehanding. Also, you should check the specs for your anchor windlass for its max pulling power. The electric motor will burn out quick if you exceed the max load especially with that huge anchor.
Hi Captain. Awesome video! I own a Vagabond 47’, Formosa’s smaller but older sister 1976. I often sail long passages alone. What you need is just 1 strong electric winch in your cockpit. With some pulleys you can do everything with it, pull up your main, roll in your headsail and so on.
You are a remarkable woman. Someone to be admired for your heart soul mind and body
