8. Flat hatch forward is opened usually with your foot. With the ball of your foot, press down and twist to unlock each handle, then lift. Easy! 😉

10. I had the same exact problem with the hatch when I looked at that boat at the show! All the locks were free – but it wouldn't pop open – too funny – but a lot of boat for a 44 🙂

11. I like the scoring system and that you give what you don't like. All these boats are so expensive right now. A used boat makes so much more sense financially, except what about the warranties?

14. Hi Bobby. You're generous with giving a B+. I would say at $620k a B-/C+ because of poor layout of Galley, no dingy setup, soft Bimini and what looks to be average to poor fit and finish. Making changes to any of these things would jack the price up even more. In my opinion, this boat is totally not worth it.

15. I say C+ Manufacturers should begin incorporating davits as a standard. Having an option for a hard top to incorporate solar should also be available.

16. Wow Bobby you are so anti monohull now that your cat is on order. It really shows when you say ‘it is what it is’ like no one should sail a monohull. Some of us still enjoy the ‘getting there’ on a monohull.

17. If it's gotta be a wet head – making the sink the wet side (and not the toilet) makes so much more sense!

23. I owned a 440 for 4 years and it was a very good boat. I did not say excellent. But good for a production boat. I came from a FP Lipari….I paid 400K in 2019. Davits are an option or you can add yourself with Kato, etc. It’s a great cockpit for a 44 foot boat. Again you can add refrigeration. Head worked fine and I’m 220 pounds……Bobby is so negative with everything….”It is what it is” like you are bored…..It opens very easily the hatch….You open from corners…..The big issue is how can they add 220K for the exact same boat. Also dealer support is not good….B+ is a fair score…..

24. Seems like you get alot more bang for your buck with a motor home.. I bet a nice used Prevost would be around this same price and has plenty of refrigeration…I get it doesn't float around the world but still an awesome way to see the country!

26. I was at the show as well… for the same price I’d prefer the Benateau 46.1. Split head/shower… nicer platform… much nicer Salon .
