Odată ce mi s-a hotărât, fac loc peste o mare calmă, acum moartă, către Bon Accord Anchorage de pe insula Kawau. Am primit un sfat despre un șantier de ambarcațiuni în susul râului Mahurangi, care m-ar putea scoate afară, astfel încât să pot revopsi fundul Triteiei cu nou Antifouling, așa că ne-am îndreptat spre cel mai strâns râu pe care l-am urcat vreodată. James, you will be lucky to get 12 months out of that anti fouling system, I can believe you dint apply a self polishing paint, in tropical waters they work best, but don’t hope to get a 24 month’s out of a hard antifouling. Great videos by the way from a follower from Mallorca Spain.

That cleaning & painting seemed to go really well, and in no time at all. It was amazing to see how far that tide went out and how everything around it had adapted. Triteia looking very spick and love the yellow stripe. I hope the seller is following you. Happy Sails Sailor James.

That's very easy to get a small boat like that up the river, we take much larger vessels up the river regularly. You probably could have got to the yard at low tide, but obviously you couldn't have got out of the water!

It took another week or so for us to get back in the water but it has been a great summer sailing around the Hauraki Gulf.
