  1. Another treat from you guys!! Thanx
The market seemed a bit crazy, and yes, maybe a bit pricy. I am on east coast U.S. and pineapples here are 2 bucks.
Gary looked good flying the underwater sea plane. Footage awesome as always.
    Safe travels, have fun!!

  2. I magine being in Huahine anchored off Fare and being the only boat anywhere excep0t for a Frewnch guy on a cat that also lives there. I spent 6 weeks there with gales a cyclon and eating at the so called yacht club. With Kiki teaching me to speak Polynesian. Bad news, my wife hates it and I long to be back

  3. That aircraft was a Catalina PBY amphibious plane. It was used for reconnaissance and sometimes cargo carrying. Definitely a WW2 era wreck.

  4. Leaving buddy boaters behind has to be one of the worst things about sailing, but you know you'll meet and make new friends who will become new buddy boaters and that's one of the best things about the sailing lifestyle!! Did a couple seconds of research… average pineapple is 2 to 5 lbs, and here in the US is between $0.31 and $0.63 per pound…. so a large pineapple at 5 lbs sold at the high end of the average price or $0.63 per pound, would cost $3.15…. so yeah $5.00 per pineapple is very expensive, nearly double the American price.

  5. OK, dayum! Your videography is top-notch. The drone work is incredible, and the time lapse sequences were great, too. The market shot was really interesting. I really hope y'all are killing it in ad-share and sponsorships! You deserve it! Spear-it and Evans may be the happiest channels. You and Parley are the most beautiful! Hope to meet you all one day on my own boat!

  6. Enjoying your videos very much. Not a world sailor (well, in my mind, possibly) but a lifelong Lake Champlain sailor / former USCG. By the way, it's a scuttled airplane. Not a scuppered plane. Hope you don't mind input from a vocabulary snob!

  7. Wow, its cool to know you can see remnants of the Catalina. So much incredible history there ! They used shortwave radio towers for navigation, The video on YouTube that I like the most is called The WWII Flying Home With a Kitchen and Bar because it talks about some very unbelievable history and situations that happened after WW2 with that plane. A big question you would probably have a hard time answering is was that a converted plane, an after WW2 civilian plane, and especially could it be the famous Land Sea Air version, the multi millionaire plane of the 50s.
