2. Go for it. You don’t need a marina contract which is just a constant overhead. Plan to anchor and just use marinas when required👍

3. I'll come around Wales with you, pay my way. But go for it.

4. Do NOT wait for summer or better weather, just go, take about 4 hour trips (12 miles) to the next harbour, and go and explore the place.
   A week or so later you do your next 4 hour trip to the next harbour or anchorplace, if things break fix them there and then.
   If you keep rooting in this harbour, you can never leave because the roots getting bigger every day!

5. I stayed with boatfolk in Penarth for about 3 weeks waiting for a weather window to dail to Scotland and they were absolutely fantastic salt of the earth people 👍

9. I wish i could but after abp port in Fleetwood took my yacht over a 2 month mooring fee, and decided to charge me 600£ more than what i owed, i lost my yacht…my dream my future, bc of helen from abp ports fleetwood…thanks helen for taking my yacht, give yourself a round of applause..

11. A survey is expensive and a good one will pick up every minor fault,then the major insurance companies will want EVERYTHING fixed before insuring you.
    3rd party is all you need

    I’m a berth holder at Penarth and am planning on a summer in Portland, sailing my yacht down at the end of June,

    To get the full amount of marina stays, you’ll need to head up the Bristol Channel to us in Penarth and a little further up to Portishead,

    But you do have Bangor(NI),
    Rhu marina in Scotland and Royal quays at North Shields,

    I’m not sure, but at Penarth annual berth holders get free membership to Transeurope marinas, that give us 50% off for up to 5 night stays at transeurope marinas, which could help a little more than just using boatfolk marinas,
    Check if Portland marina offer this, as I know the boatfolk marinas are on the transeurope list 👍🏻

23. R'reet Terry, I'm definitely in & would love to see you do a voyage around the British Isles, I already follow one channel sailing around the British Isles (Sailing Gemini) & the ports/harbours they visit are stunning places. It will be awesome to watch mate.

24. A bonifide circumnavigation includes the "top" lol, you will be missing out on some of the best sailing destinations the UK has to offer by taking the easy option and going through the Caladonian canal.
    Grow a pair and do it properly, haha, as if you don't do it now you will probably just head South to warmer climes after you complete this trip and never get the oportunity to do a UK circumnavigation properly.
    Take a page out of Erik Aanderaa's book and seek out some wild rides as smoth seas don't make good sailors.

    I think you might be under estimating your personality and i believe if you keep the updates regular, maybe two 10 minute episodes a week your channel will come good my man.

    Whats the worse that can happen? You could find a job around any marina in the uk 😂
