In no world is living a boat cheaper. , unless you don't move , maintain or insure it.

At least say how much…
Ok, go live in a Travel trailer for a month. Then imagine everything you take home like groceries, etc is a hundred yard trek to get to your home.
Then do laundry at $7 per load. Don’t forget you have to have your holding tank pumped, weekly at $25. Oh,,btw, you dropped your keys into the water getting on your home. Plus, when you go to work, you smell like diesel and holding tank chemicals. You will go out on the boat a fraction of the time you would have if you weren’t living on the boat because everything you own slides off the counters onto the floor. Plus, there is always some guy on a 20’ outboard making a wake.
Yes
Unlike a sailboat, if you dont have the money to fill up, you cant go anywhere
Ì have been making this comparison for many years and even more so now with the absurd escalations of house prices!
I could live aboard that boat very easily if not for the cost of diesel.
I almost bought a 250k yacht a yr ago to live on but I can’t get a marina to allow live aboard where I live so I’m not going to be able to live on a yacht until I’m ready to sail around the world but I’m saving for it hopefully within the next 5 yrs I can set off
Yes I have thought of doing just that I’m a veteran and bearly make through the month living in my truck I’ve been on survivor mode for three years now and needing a little help but mountain of med bill over due personal loans and a aurtise in my hip is preventing me from working
Love the boat
Living in a boat is similar to living in a camping van, they have to find a location to park. Living in the boat, the only way to buy is a battery charger. Living in the boat looks like a fisherman, they need experience to know how to fix the boat or weather cast.
1 gallon per mile?!?
Eat fresh fish and crap in a bucket. Sounds like inexpensive living to me.
I researched living on a boat and it’s very expensive if you can even find a marina that will let you do it and/or an open slip that you can inherit or take over.
230 Gal of fuel to go 300 nautical miles is wild lol over $1200 to go 300 miles.
she's nice ..,*unique…🆒!!!!.
How much?
It will sink– and lose value, costly to run, needs a sail.
Love it.
A boat is a hole in the water to throw a lot of money into
If I was a bit younger and still had my current income, I’d love to live on a boat. But there’s plenty of disadvantages….one being the speed in which a fire will spread through a boat.
depreciating value means like living in a mobile home ||vanlife or ||boatlife
Nice looking vessel, what kind of diesels are they. Are they natural or turbo?
Does it have a generator,
A/C how many stat rooms?
How many heads?
Been living on a boat for 30 years.
40' 200k. And depreciating. Miami $23 ft/month
YEP
Moron get a job loser
I have a 6 meter wooden boat with 10 horsepower aircooled diesel engine. I can assure you it is not easy to maintain.
I would put a watermaker in.
Love it❤❤❤
I could
I could live on it full time.
Can't afford it though.
