Looks very good to me. Considering how well the 349 sails, this hull should be as good if not somewhat better. The only thing i would change, and that is for almost all modern boat, is a far better place for holding and working on paper charts. I know this model has a provision for charts, but it is likely a tiny space.
Another great tour from someone who knows more than ‘I sailed the ICW and to Bermuda’ or ‘look 👀, my onlyfans wannabe girlfriend has boobs’ .
As you've clearly been on the pop the night before, great job Theo 🙂
No no no, horrible boat!
Surprisingly reasonable price for a fully specced boat of that size. Good layout, with two cabins and a single heads, as that's what the vast majority of boats of this size needs.
Not exactly the Contessa 32 you sailed in storm conditions. Plastic boats last 50 years and more. Where does all the end of life material go ? No wonder Orcas are upset.
still looks like ikea on inside and the hull badly sprayed at bottom could see different shading
IKEA interior, unprotected propeller shaft, unprotected rudders… Holiday boat in the Mediterranean…
this is a pet peeve but professional journalists in this space should be able to pronounce Boot Düsseldorf correctly. It smacks of either arrogance and inattention or, quite frankly, stupidity.
It’s a nice boat, but modern hull designs don’t really punch through waves do they? The flat (Ok rounded) hulls forward of the keel slam into anything other than benign seas and the whole boat then tries to shake itself to pieces. This makes a mockery of putting the “owners” cabin fwd as very few owners appreciate experiencing negative g whilst beating into weather.
Sun Odyssey was just in the news for a recall on retractable bow thrusters fitted to larger models. Those had the unfortunate defect that they weren't sealed in properly so if the bow hit a wave with sufficient force that the bow thruster mechanism would detach into the hull creating a massive hole that sank the boat in minutes.
